Terms of Service (ToS) for Destiny Compendium

Welcome to Destiny Compendium, a Discord bot designed to allow querying of information from the Destiny Data Compendium spreadsheet and other sources.

By inviting or using Destiny Compendium (the “Bot”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

1. Usage

    - The Bot is provided “as-is” for use on Discord servers.

    - You agree to comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

    - You may not use the Bot for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate Discord’s terms or infringe on the rights of others.

2. Restrictions

    - You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Bot beyond what is allowed under the Apache License 2.0.

    - Abuse or exploitation of the Bot, its APIs, or its features is strictly prohibited.

3. Termination of Service

    - The developers reserve the right to terminate or suspend the Bot’s service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

    - We also reserve the right to block or restrict access to the Bot for any user or server at our sole discretion.

4. Changes to Terms

    - We may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time, without prior notice.

    - Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

    - It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.

5. Open Source

The Bot’s source code is made available under the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license.

6. No Warranty

The Bot is provided “as-is” without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the Bot.
