He doesn't know that there are people out there who want him for purposes that are not good. He doesn't know that he is a special child, with special gifts that most other children do not possess. He doesn't know that his parents sacrificed everything, their jobs, lives, families, and identities to protect him. What he does know is that Daddy always makes time to watch baseball on TV with him, and even though he doesn't quite know what is happening in the game, he likes sitting on Daddy's lap. He knows that sometimes, in the very early morning, Mommy really loves it if he jail-breaks from his crib and sneaks into bed with her and Daddy. He knows that he likes the way Mommy smells and kisses him. He knows they love him very much. Which is all he needs to know.
