I'm just another rabid fan making a weak effort
to write Fan Fic.  (Oh! You thought I was brushing my
teeth?  Nope, rabid fan coming through!)

Mulder was mad.  He had been conned into another one
of the crazy Scully family dinners. The family wanted to
celebrate Bill Jr.'s promotion in the navy=E2=80=A6at a Chinese
restaurant. Mulder hated Chinese food.

"Let's go!"  Scully was frantically trying not to be late.

"I'm coming!"  Mulder was mad at Scully for rushing him.

By the time they finally got to the restaurant, they were
already a good hour late. The family had already ordered 
for Scully and Mulder.  Mrs. Scully had gotten Scully a 
small Chinese Chicken salad with Egg Moo-Shoo.

Mulder looked around, "So, what did y'all order for me?"
    
"We thought you didn't like Chinese food," Mrs. Scully 
said.

"I think I'll live through the night," Mulder said, 
"Besides, the only kind of Chinese food I absolutely cannot 
have are dumplings.  Those things just go right through me.
Anyway, what do I get?"

"House Specialty," Mrs. Scully said, "All the dumplings you 
can eat."

you can come up with when you're counting how many words
