Agenda, a drabble

I know your style: charge the victim of a car bomb with transporting
explosives.  You never catch the bomber that way, but that's not on your
agenda, is it?  Domestic Terrorism, not Criminal Investigative Division.

Now you have a multiple kidnapping including an agent; an eyewitness;
and a link among all the victims.  So first you try to poison the
agent's partner against him, then you try to frame him for going AWOL.

In criminal investigation, the facts are what they are, not what you
want them to be.  Go chase your agenda and leave me to work the facts.
