Mulder paused at the door to the bathroom and muttered something
under his breath. He turned around, something which always
disappointed me, and repeated himself. "Thank you for taking care
of me. "

I took a deep breath and stood up, still wondering how to phrase
my request. I looked at him. "There's something else.  My name
is in those files. It appears in the latest entries with Duane
Barry's."

Mulder looked at me puzzledly. "In what context?"

"It's not clear, but it has something to do with a test." I
paused, still unsure of his reaction. "I want you to find out,
Mulder. I need you to." He looked at me steadily, then slowly and
painfully moved to where I stood and took me in his arms, as if
seeking comfort. I clung to him, as desperate for his touch as
he was for mine. What must we look like, I distantly wondered. Two
wounded animals seeking shelter in each other's arms? Hiding from
nature's storm?

I suddenly felt a butterfly touch on my lips. Opening my eyes,
which had somehow closed themselves, I saw Mulder looking at me
with his blank expression of panic. I knew. I searched his eyes
before letting a slow smile cross my face. I pulled his head down
and the last thing I saw was his stunningly estatic smile...
