Fox Mulder manages to make arrogance, obstinacy and a bit of insanity look damn good. So I stop staring. But out of sight is *not* necessarily out of mind. And, just to clarify, my attraction to Mulder runs deeper than physical appeal. His mind amazes, confuses and entices me. I just have to face it: Fox Mulder is the epitome of sex appeal. I just have to face it: Dana Scully is the epitome of sex appeal. I try to focus on my work. I have reports to write and file, but my efforts are futile. When weighed on a scale of preferred activities, staring at the engaging Fox Mulder beats paperwork hands down! Short brown hair, falling in front of gorgeous hazel eyes, set in a face of strong features atop an amazingly healthy and muscular body. And, I know, all of that splendor only serves to contain a beautiful yet tortured soul. I couldn't look away to save my life. I try to focus on my work. I have reports to write and file, but my efforts are futile. When weighed on a scale of preferred activities, staring at the engaging Dana Scully beats paperwork hands down! Mid-length auburn hair hiding enchanting blue eyes, set in a soft, gentle face atop a small, trim and wonderfully curved body. And, I know, all of that splendor only serves to house a strong and compassionate soul. I couldn't look away to save my life! He's staring into space, I notice. I wonder what he's thinking about? I heard once that when you daydream about somebody, it means that they are also daydreaming about you. So, Fox, what are you thinking about? . She's staring into space, I notice. I wonder what she's thinking about? I heard once that when you daydream about somebody, it means that they are also daydreaming about you. So, Dana, what are you thinking about? . Enough! I have to know, I have to know how he feels! I need to look into those captivating eyes and see if they hold the same feelings as mine! But, I don't have the courage to ask, nor do I wish to risk our friendship. So, I lean back in my chair and sigh. Enough! I have to know, I have to know how she feels! I need to look into those captivating eyes and see if they hold the same feelings as mine! I hear her sigh, and that brings me back into the real world. I'm going to find out! I stand and walk toward her desk. I sit on the edge, probably a bit too close to her, and watch her for a second. He's watching me, now. He's sitting on the edge of my desk and watching me. My God, Fox Mulder, you are so confusing! So damn confusing. This is making me very nervous, I need to break the silence. "Mulder?" "Hmm?" "What are you doing?" "Oh, just appreciating a work of art. It's really a shame to leave artwork unappreciated." His voice softens. This is driving me crazy, but in a very good way. "Don't you think, Scully?" What did he just say?? I look up, startled, and raise an eyebrow characteristically. I'm not letting him know what these jokes are doing to my psyche! He catches my look, but something in his eyes makes me soften my gaze. His eyes lock with mine. I can't look away. Not that I want to. "Definitely," I say staring at him contentedly. I hope he realizes that I can't tear my eyes away from the beautiful representation of artwork in front of me. I don't know how to interpret her stare. All I know is that she is looking at nothing else but me. She is still staring and something about that look tells me yes. For better or worse, I decide to make the move I have been dreaming of for four long years. From my perch on the edge of her desk, I begin to lean forward. If I'm not hallucinating, she's slowly leaning toward me. end!! There it is. Sequel? Destruction of every remaining copy? What do you guys want? Tell me (I NEED FEEDBACK) at blueraven1@juno.com. I'll write back if you want. Anyway, tell me your opinions.
