Scully pushed herself away from the desk. She stood and stalked over to her open-faced partner. "Where did you say this happened?" "Well, I never said it exactly happened, Scully." Mulder removed the slide from the aging projector, along with his glasses. He tried to smile to camoflage his embarrassment. When his stomach growled, it sounded like feeding time at the zoo. "Then, what ARE you saying, Mulder?" "Nothing for the time being...nothing, that is until the additional evidence arrives." "And when will that be, MULDER..." Shifting from side to side, to match his evasiveness, he hotly retorted, "The guys are working on that even as we speak." Following her loud groan, Scully checked her watch. "Well, that could be momentarily, or an eternity, so I think I'll step out and get some lunch." "You buyin', Scully?" "Uh, I don't think so. It's your turn, and I'm running down to the deli for a real sandwich. Not a Whopper." He brightened visibly. "Now you're talkin'. Your assignment, if you choose to accept it--" "Only if you're buying." "Okay, okay!"
