When he could see again, a beam of light illuminated an unconscious figure-- *Scully!* As he started forward, the light moved to some sort of box. "Here's what we pulled out of her," said the voice he expected. A freezer box. He knew what he would see before he looked. A much distorted fetus, with cord and placenta. Green. The light went out.
