He had to go in front of a Senate committee and explain where he had been and make sure they didn't send Scully back to jail. * I just can't believe that she went to jail for me, to protect me!* he thought, shaking his head at her loyalty. He opened the door just as the Congressman was saying "Answer the question, Agent Scully." "What is the question?" he called out as all eyes turned on him. Scully spun around and just stared at him as he walked down the aisle. He looked into her beautiful blue eyes as he sat down. The proceedings continued for a few minutes and then suddenly the Congressman declared a recess. Scully quickly slid back in her chair. "Mulder," she said throatily, almost on the verge of tear as she went into his arms.
