So far I've just read but now I decide to give a shot. Please, be aware that English is not my first language and writing this fic is an exercise to me. So, be a little tolerant with my mistakes. Bad idea. What would he think if she just point it out? Probably that she at some time stared to that area and he would be right. Oh God! They are going to have lunch in about fifteen minutes. She needs to figure it out. Maybe she should just ignore. Pretend that everything is normal and that big white elephant isn't there. Okay. Don't use the word big. She reproached herself while she took one last glimpse of the problem. Mulder was standing beside the file cabinet unaware of her indiscretion or agonizing indecision. She shouldn't let them go to the restaurant without him knowing. People would gaze at him ? at it. Mulder didn't deserve that. She wouldn't tolerate other women looking at him ? at it. Ok. She had made her mind. She knew what she was supposed to do and how to do. Without too much thought she took a piece of blank paper and wrote a note. Finished, she read the simple note and with some reluctance walked to Mulder's desk and laid down the note. She went straight to the door, telling Mulder she would wait for him upstairs. While in the corridor, outside their office, Scully told Mulder to look at the note on his desk. Mulder, who was distracted with a file, looked at his desk got the note as he listened the elevator door closing ... M. If you don't teach your bird to behave himself then you can't let the cage open. Close your zipper. S.
