Of course, they couldn't go on "Change of Heart" with any normal blind dates. DISCLAIMER: I don't own "The X-Files" or "Change of Heart" but I kinda wish I did because I would be rolling in the $$... Give credit to those who deserve it... which definitely isn't moi! HOST: Welcome to today's show of "Change of Heart". I am Chris Jaggers. Today we are joined by Dana and Fox. Dana and Fox met about six years ago when they started working together. Six months ago, Fox and Dana decided to get a little bit more personal than professional and started dating. Dana what attracted you to Fox? DANA: Well, Mulder-err Fox is very attractive (audience cheers). He's got a nice body but he's a little too arrogant about it. We have always been friends and what attracted me to him in the first place was his passion to find answers to all of his questions. HOST: But sometimes those passions can be annoying as you said. DANA: Yeah, he's a little overbearing at moments. FOX: Overbearing! HOST: Fox, what attracted you to Dana? FOX: She's very smart, she's beautiful. She's the first person I've ever been in such a serious relationship with. HOST: A little too serious you said though. FOX: Yeah, Scu- Dana has the rep of being an "ice queen" at work. (oooo) DANA: Oh, shut up! HOST: Ice queen, huh. DANA: Because I am not overwhelmed in emotion at the drop of the finger I've earned the Ice Queen title. So I am not that exuberant! FOX: Not that exuberant. There's not an exuberant bone in your body! HOST: So, Dana your problem with Fox would be that he's... DANA: He can be arrogant and he can get really annoying and whiny. Oh and he's a little gullible too. FOX: And my problem is that Dana needs to lighten up and have a little fun sometimes. Come on! It doesn't kill you. HOST: Fox, why did you decide to do this whole thing and go on a date with somebody else? FOX: Because I feel that I owe it to myself to try a date with somebody a little more open minded. DANA: You mean somebody who'll believe in anything. FOX: What was your reason? DANA: I felt I owed it to you and our relationship to see if there are really other fish in the ocean for me. HOST: It seems that Dana and Fox have a few differences here. Lets stay here and see about the other people they dated and see if they had a change of heart. [COMMERCIAL] HOST: Welcome back to Change of Heart. We are here with Dana and Fox, who are in the crossroad of their relationship. Fox said that he likes a girl that is a little more open minded and friendlier while Dana would prefer to have a date with a guy who is as skeptical and less aware of his good looks than Fox. So first of all, we fixed Fox up on his blind date. We fixed him up with Kathy, who is young, friendly and believes that UFOs are here on earth. Please welcome, Kathy. [applauds] HOST: Okay, Fox, when you first saw Kathy, what did you think? FOX: She is absolutely beautiful. She's tall, blond, and is just gorgeous. HOST: And Kathy, what was your impression of Fox. FOX: He's this hunk. He's so cute and he's probably part of an All American Cutie League. DANA: Yeah, first impressions aren't always accurate. HOST: Okay, Dana, what do you think of Kathy? DANA: Other than the fact she looks like any other Barbie doll? Is that what you want, hon, a Barbie? I could buy you that, it's probably cheaper. HOST: Okay, I think we sense a bit of tension here. FOX: Just a bit. HOST: Okay, what was the plan for the date? FOX: Well, since we both share an interest in aliens, we decided to go to this UFO convention. HOST: Really? KATHY: For a little bit. FOX: Yeah. HOST: How did that go? FOX: Oh it was so fun. There was this guy there named... KATHY: Victor. FOX: Yeah, Victor. Victor was a strange man. KATHY: Victor (laughing hysterically) HOST: This must be one of those things you just have to be there. FOX: It was. Victor came up to Kathy and grabbed her butt. HOST: So Victor grabbed her butt? DANA: I'm sure she's used to it. FOX: Yeah, and his excuse was (laughing hysterically) KATHY AND FOX: Sorry, just wanting to make sure that was real. KATHY: Like it was alien or something. [laughing continues as Dana looks angrily at Fox] HOST: Do you and Fox ever have little jokes? DANA: Well, about my butt being grabbed? FOX: (silently says) ice queen. HOST: Then what? FOX: We went to this dance club and we had so much fun! KATHY: Yeah, I taught him how to salsa dance. HOST: Oh so you two were getting hot and heavy. Any kissing or groping or butt grabbing involved? KATHY: It got a little hot in there but I think he was reluctant to kiss me. I think he really is committed to Dana. HOST: So Fox, how did the rest of the date go? FOX: Well, Kathy and me decided to go out and get some coffee and she told me a little about her childhood. Come to find out she was raised in the same area I was... In Massachusetts. HOST: Really, so you two had some things in common. So how did the date finish up? FOX: Well, Kathy lives close by so I walked her home. DANA: Just in case somebody decides they want to grab her ass? FOX: No I was trying to be romantic. HOST: Was there any physicality going on? Was Fox invited in? KATHY: No, um, he said he better get home and he gave me a hug. HOST: How did you feel about the date, Kathy? KATHY: I was a little disappointed but I really had a good time. He's a good guy. HOST: And Fox? KATHY: She's really sweet and funny and very open minded. That's something that is missing from my relationship with Dana... fun. HOST: Will Kathy's love of fun be enough to change Fox's heart? We'll see after the commercial break. [Commercial] HOST: Okay we are back to the show and we just heard about Fox's date with Kathy and now we are about to hear about Dana's date. Dana was looking for a guy who is not arrogant and is a little more closed minded than Fox. So we picked Darin out from the crowd. He's handsome but not arrogant and has a medical background also so uh lets bring him out. Come on out... Richard! So Dana, you look happy, tell us all what you think of Richard. DANA: He's charming. He's smart. He's not arrogant but we had a slight problem on the date. HOST: What was that? DANA: Richard has a slight attachment to uh... his mother. RICHARD: Oh honey, let's not call it that! FOX: Momma's boy! DANA: Mulder! And Richard, don't call me honey! FOX: Yeah, I am the only one that calls Dana honey. HOST: So, you're a little bit of a Momma's boy, huh? RICHARD: Hey, my momma said nothing's wrong with living at home. She said there's nothing wrong with being close with her. HOST: No there's not * cough... cough * So um Dana... first impressions? DANA: He uh... he has really nice teeth. HOST: nice teeth? DANA: Yeah, uh. You floss don't you Richard? RICHARD: Three times a day... momma tells me I- DANA: Momma tells you that flossing gets the strawberry seeds out from between your teeth. You told me. HOST: So uh... What was your impression of Dana, Richard? RICHARD: She is beautiful- FOX: Damn straight she's beautiful. RICHARD: Yeah, and anyway... She reminds me so much of my mother. DANA: Oh God... will you quit that? RICHARD: You don't think it is a compliment? DANA: Richard, you showed me your picture albums of your mother –all eight of them. Trust me, it is no compliment. RICHARD: Well, I don't think I can even look at you. Disrespecting my mother like that. FOX: Oh bad! What are you going to do? Switch her cards so they say Change of Heart? HOST: Well, we'll be right back to see if Fox or maybe even Dana in extreme possibility has a change of heart. [Commercial] HOST: Okay! So Fox, you had this lovely date with this lovely woman... This is an important decision for you: stay together of change of heart. FOX: (laughing) So we come on this show, alright and I get fixed up with this woman, Kathy, who is nice but has more paranoia than all 3 Lone Gunman, me, Nixon, and like all of the pot heads in the state of California combined. Trust me, that is one hell of a melting pot to compete against. You Scully, you get fixed up with this 40 year old guy that still lives at home with mommy. You know, I am beginning to feel a stay together coming on. HOST: Fox decides to stay together. Dana? DANA: Well, unless uh Richard decided to do a little switcheroo with my cards its no secret that I enjoy the independent type. Or at least the type who can live in his own home. I decided to stay together. FOX MULDER: 1 month after appearing on "Change of Heart", he decided to ask Dana Scully to marry him. The engagement didn't go as well as planned because he did it at his mother's house... Dana didn't really enjoy the recollection of Richard to well at all. DANA SCULLY: After Fox Mulder's hideous proposal, Dana Scully decided to take matters in her own hands. She proposed to Fox Mulder and they decided to get married without Fox's mother there. RICHARD: Richard is still living with his mother. He has also found a girlfriend named Opie. Needless to say, he finds her beautiful... just like his mother. KATHY: After being humiliated on "Change of Heart" by Fox Mulder's paranoia joke, Kathy prayed that she would be abducted by aliens. Her prayers were answered when Marvin the Martian landed in her backyard. They've been inseparable ever since. ~~~ Ok, that's my second fic!
