AUTHOR'S NOTES: Just for the sake of this little piece, please pretend this is what happened. Scully found the whole big artifact in Africa, but since she knew not to trust Skinner or Fowley, she didn't tell them. She used the navel connections from her family's history in the service to take it and plave it in a secret spot where only she knows. She returned to Washington to find Mulder out of the hospital and fine. But not remembering anythign after he collapsed in the hallway. Scully has not told him of anythign that she has learned since she fears his trust and love for Diana may jeopardize what she has found. So she is leaving the bureau to work on her own since she feels there is no one to trust. Oh boy that was alot. I know what you are all thinking. Doesn't this girl have a life or is thinking up weird story lines all she does. Anyway I had to write this after I saw Fowley in Mulder's apartment and since I can't just have Scully kill her (even though if I was on the jury I would find her innocent of the murder) I thought this would come close enough to vent my frustrations. FEEDBACK: Please. I have such great ideas for where this could lead and from what you read here you think that it may be a story worthy of your reading let me know and I will start on a much longer version, but I must warn you I am a shipper and that will come in the story Thanks and Enjoy and let's start the countdown till the final season. Then you run off with her in search of Gibson. Then you trust her without any thought and question my objectivity. Now she answers your phone. After months from her mysterious disappearance with CBG Spender and you have nothing to say about it. I guess I should have known from the moment she came back that my time in the passanger seat that is your life was coming to an end. Makes me wonder why you even bothered coming and saving me in Antartica. Why did you Mulder? I mean from what you say I could have become an incubator for your aliens. Sounds to me like something that you would have wanted, real honest to GOD proof to me myself of the existence of aliens. But you had to come and save me. And because of that everyone thought that it meant that you wanted me by your side. Why didn't you just let me stay there? At least I wouldn't have been witness to your loss of faith in me, the resurrection of your love with Diana, Cassandra Spender's death and SKinner's betrayal. I thought that after all that I have seen and been through, that there would be nothing to stop me cold in my tracks, but I have seen it. It is the end of my love and my time with you and the acceptance of yoiur lack of love for me. I am sorry that I am not going to be unable to continue on the journey that I have been on with you for the past years. Even though I doubt that you will care. I would like to give my thanks to you. There have been moments that I would love to forget, but I have valued my time in the X-Files department. The cases have been challenging and have opened my eyes and made me grow up. I am also sorry that I was unable to be as much help and of as much importnace to you in your life, as you were in mine. I wish you the best of luck with your contiued search and hope that when you *do* find Samantha, that you will somehow find a way and tell me so I can know that the 12 year old boy has finally found some piece and that the man can now try and live.
