I'm working on another story, but I can't think of anything to add to it right now, so I'm writing this piece of work. The title means 'The Miracle of Dana Katherine' (I actually paid attention in Spanish class the day our teacher was teaching sentence structure! That's a first.) It's a companion piece to the story "El Milagro de Fox William." Reading that story is recommend, but not crucial to understanding this story. Archive: Anywhere and everywhere, especially on web pages. My works need to become known. Just keep my name & e-mail attached, please. Feedback: YESYESYESYESYESYESYES! I DON'T GET ENOUGH MAIL! GIVE ME FEEDBACK! Keywords: Angst, MSR? Spoilers: Milagro (Are you blind?) Detour Summery: What happened to Scully after the evil guy tried to kill her? Scully's POV Disclaimer: Sung to the tune of 'Getting to know you' Getting to know that Christopher Carter owns them. Getting to know that they aren't mine. Getting to know that I am just borrowing them. Getting to know that I am not paid. Apartment of Fox Mulder 52 Hegal Place, Apt. 42 Oh God. He...he almost...killed me. Then I wake up, and instead of him, I see Mulder. Mulder. My savior. My strength. Seeing him there, just made me weep harder. He sat there, trying to comfort me, until I quieted. He moved back and pulled me into his lap tenderly, as if I were a piece of crystal that was about to break. He's asking me something, though I don't know what. So I instead just say his name. "Mulder?" I say. It's incredibly pathetic, even to my own ears. "I'm right here, hunny. Sweetie, I want to put you on the couch, okay hun?" I am grateful when he responds, for I need companionship now. "Ok. Mulder, I don't think that I can walk." I answer. I hate admitting weakness, especially to Mulder, and he knows that, or at least he should by now. He answers me in a gentle tone. "That's all right Scully. I'll carry you, okay?" I am tired now, my release of tears had drained me of all my energy, so I only answer "Thank you Mulder." He picked me up carefully, and set me on the couch. After a bit, Mulder tells me "Scully, Sweetie, you have to get to a hospital. You've lost a lot of blood. I have to call the police anyway; they have to check out my apartment for evidence. They can just bring an ambulance along." I am tired now, so my response is only a nod of my head. X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~ Apartment of Dana Scully 11:21 PM I am home now. Mulder was relentless and wouldn't go home, so he's staying here for the night. Secretly, I am glad that he won't leave. I need companionship tonight. More specifically, his companionship. I wander over to where Mulder is putting down a small maroon notebook. When I ask him what it is, he tells me it is okay to read it. He doesn't answer my question though. So I open the small notebook. I see with astonishment that it is a journal. "Mulder," I say. "Are you sure that you want me to read this?" He told me to, so I assume that he does. But I ask anyway. "Yes." He does not elaborate, therefore I do not inquire. As a scan each page, I notice how all of the entries are addressed to me. When I get to the last one, I begin to cry. Mulder turns away from me, as I read it. He still doesn't understand that I want to work with him. And that I love him too. I know this song that is in his journal. It is a favorite of mine. I begin to sing the song. Mulder looks up at me, tears in his eyes. That time down in Florida, when we were stuck outside all night and I told him that I couldn't sing, I was lying. Mulder now knows this. As I sing the song, I walk over to him. Sitting next to him, I finish the song. As I finish, I lean close to his ear, and softly, I whisper, "I love you too, Fox William Mulder." X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~X~ That's all for now folks! Want anymore? Anyone?
