(Mulder's apartment building) C: Hurry up. He'll be back from his date any minute. Kry: (picking lock) I'm hurrying, wait a minute. C: How can I wait , we have to get his gun. (door opens) Kry: Got it! C: Stay here, I'll look for the gun. (5 minutes later) I've got it , now lets get out of here and plant this thing. XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX 8:47, X-file office (Scully is sitting at her desk sifting through some papers when Mulder walks in) Scully:(looks up) What's wrong Mulder, another nightmare? Mu:(strange look on his face)Yeah, but that's not what's wrong. I can't find my gun anywhere (Knock, Knock) Sc: Come in, It's open. (Colten walks in) C: Hello Dana Sc: (shocked and disgusted) Colten, what are you doing here? C: Calm down Dana, I'm here on business. (Turns to Mulder) Fox Mulder , you're under arrest. Mu +Sc: WHAT !!?? C: That's right. (cuffs Mulder and reads him his rights. Leads Mulder out the door and shuts it behind him.) (Scully remains in the office with a dumbfounded look on her face) XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Sc: ( bursting into Skinners office) What the HE!! Is going on!?! Sk: We found Mulder's gun at the scene of a murder last night. Sc: Mulder was on a date last night!! Besides, he couldn't find his gun this morning. Sk: That' besides the point. The main thing is that Mulder's gun was found at the scene of the murder and his fingerprints were all over it. Unless you can get someone to confess, He's going to stay locked up. (Scully storms out of the room) Sc: I'll get to the bottom of this!! xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Mulder's apartment (Scully walks up to the door. She starts to turn the door handle and hears a jingling noise. She takes out a kit and removes the door knob. She finds a piece of a lock picking device.) Sc: Just as I thought !! (puts it in an evidence bag ) I'll keep this for safe- keeping. Jail Sc: How's life jailbird? Mu: Scully ,do you have any idea what all this is about ? Sc: They found your gun at the scene of a murder. Mu: But I didn't have my gun. I left it at home for my date and couldn't find it when I got home. You know that? Sc: That's what I told Skinner , But he said that your gun was at the crime scene and your fingerprints were on the gun and that there was no way we could clear you without a confession from the real killer or the person that stole your gun.(starts to leave, but decides to ask Mulder about what she found) Mulder, did you notice anything strange when you went home? Mu: Not really, only that I need a new doorknob. Sc: Why? Mu: It was making a weird rattling noise. Sc: I went over to your apartment and took the door knob off because it was rattling, there was a piece of a lockpicking device in it. Mu: That means someone was in my apartment last night. Whoever it was could have taken my gun. xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx C: (On phone with Krychec) Yeah, I'm sure I heard her say that she found a piece of your lockpicking device. We have to get it away from her before it's too late. Kry: O.K. You do that and I'll make sure that Mulder's date last night can't remember a thing. XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX (Colten sneaks into the X-file basement office, looks around and figures that Scully is getting coffee or something. He walks over to her desk and sees the evidence bag with the lockpicking device, just as he puts it in his jacket pocket ...) Sc: WHAT THE HE!! DO YOU WANT and why are you in our office !!!!!!?! C: It's only your office now Agent Scully. Mulder's in for 10-20 years for murder. Sc: Not if I can help it!!!!!! C: (suspiciously, as walking out the door)What is there between you and Spooky? S: TRUST !!!!! ( slams door on Colten's face) XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Jail Sc: How's the food? Mu: Great if you enjoy sucking on sweat socks. Sc: (laughing) Don't worry, You'll get used to it . Mu: Do you have anything that will get me out of this hole. Sc: It can't be that bad. Mu: Oh no, the cell is great , I have a sink and a toilet. The only problem is that I can't tell the difference between the two. So what else have you come up with? Sc: (laughs) I can't seem to find my evidence bag anywhere. Mu: Great. The only evidence you had and it's been stolen. Sc: Don't worry, I would kill to get you out of there. Mu: Oh, don't do that or we'll both be in here. XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Office Sc: (talks lightly to herself) Where could I have put that evidence. I've got to get him out of there he looks miserable. (Knock,Knock) Sc: Come in. (Colten walks in) Sc: Oh, It's you. What do YOU want? C: I heard you talking to yourself in here and... Sc: O.K. so you came to tell me that I'm a Scitzofrinic. Are you done? Now GO!!! C: No, I came here for a reason, I came to tell you that I'm prosecuting Mulder and he's gonna go down like a rock !! Sc: NOT if I can help it !!!! C: (walking out door)And if you ask me, Mulder looks miserable even out of prison. Sc: SHUT UP !!!!! ( slams door in his face) XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Jail Sc: That little toad makes me so mad!!! He must have something to do with what happened to you. Mu: How can you be so sure and besides, why would he want to? Sc: Let's just say that Colten isn't too fond of you after the Tooms case. Besides, right after I caught Colten in our office was when I noticed the evidence was missing. But why frame you I don't know. I always thought shooting you would be the quickest way to get rid of you. Mu: Hey, that was a cheap shot. (pauses)Well, If he did do it , he must have left some evidence behind. Maybe someone else in the building saw him? Sc: I'm on my way!! XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Mulder's apartment building, 10:43 A.M. Sc: I'll ask you again. Did you see anything out of the ordinary near Mr. Mulder's apartment about two days ago? OLWC: (eyes wide) You want to know something? That boy Mulder isn't normal. He sees things that no one else can see. Sc: (mumbling to herself) This is going to be harder than I thought. If you find anything , call me at this number.(Hands her a card) OLWC: Oh, I don't believe in telephones. They're Evil !!! Sc:(Grabs the tape recorder she was using to conduct interviews) Then CHANNEL ME!!!!! ( walks out door and slams it behind her) Sc: (as walking toward Mulder's apartment) Must be one of Mulder's lost relatives. xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Mulder's Apartment ( Scully walks in, looks around at things in the room and continues toward the couch. She feeds Mulder's fish and proceeds into the bedroom. Once she walks in ...) Sc:(Wiping dust off the surface of the dresser)It looks as if this room has never seen a vacuum cleaner. ( Scully continues to look around the room. She stops when she is across from the dresser. As she is picking up the clothes off the ground, She notices what looks like a credit card semi under the dresser) Sc: He should know better then to leave these things just lying around. (She picks up credit card and reads the name on it) Sc: OH MY GOD !!!!!! ( All of a sudden, Scully hears a mans voice outside and a noise like a lock being picked. She quickly grabs her tape recorder and takes a flying leap into the nearby closet just as the door begins to open.) Kry: I can't believe you left it here, where is it? C: I don't know. Let's see ... (Scully turns on tape recorder) C: You unlocked the door, I came in through the livingroom, I walked into the bedroom (They walk into the bedroom), I walked across the room and spotted the gun on the dresser, I grabbed it and left as fast as I could so we could plant it. (Scully gets a cramp in her leg and begins to move around. She begins to lose her balance and grabs to catch herself. She accidentally grabs onto a box and pulls it down. A bunch of surveillance pictures of her fall out.) Sc: (looks at one of the pictures) What the he!! ... Oops. Kry: What was that? C: It came from the closet. (Scully puts the tape recorder in her shirt and trys to be as still as possible. The closet door opens, Scully drops credit card.) C: Well, if it ain't Mrs. Spooky. Sc: (walking out of the closet)Shut up Colten (pushes him)I know what you did and I have the proof to put you down for good !!! C: And how are you gonna prove it if your dead !!?!(Grabs Scully's gun out of her holster and points it at her)NOW MOVE!!!! xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Jail 12:03 A.M. Mu: What the HE!! do you mean she's missing???!!!!?! Sk: I called her cellular number ten times and no one has heard from her in hours. Mu: (hopefully)Maybe she went to the office?? Sk: I don't think so, I called there about ten times too. Mu: She came to me this morning, she said that she was going to my apartment to check things. Oh God , I hope she doesn't find those ... ( realizes he's talking) Sk: You hope she doesn't find those what ??? Mu: Oh ... Nothing. Sk: I'll get some agents down there immediately. Mu: No, I don't trust anyone. You go down there yourself and see if she is there and if there are any clues about where she may be. ( Skinner walks up to Mulder's apartment door and finds it open. He steps inside and was shocked at what he saw. It looked as if a tornado went through the room. He starts to look around for anything that may be a clue. In the bedroom he finds the credit card and rushes out of the room. ) xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx (Scully is tied up in the trunk of Colten's car. She works her hands free, She takes the tape out of the tape recorder and puts it back in her pocket. Just then, the trunk opens.) C: Well, I see that you don't like it in there. Don't worry, you won't have to be in there too much longer (Bends down to touch her cheek) Sc: STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU SON OF A B_T_H !!!!!! C: Poor Scully (laughs and closes the trunk) xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Jail Mu: We knew he had something to do with it, we just didn't know what extreme he would go to. We've got to get her away from him. Sk: I guess it's up to me because you're in there. Mu: Good, because if something happens to her, I'll be in here on charges of murder that I DID commit. (Skinner leaves the jail and begins going on a search for Agent Scully. Little does he know, he is going in the complete opposite direction of Colten and Krychec. xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx ( As Colten opens the trunk slightly, Scully notices an opportunity. Just as the trunk begins to open, Scully pushes on the trunk door with all her strength. She hears a loud thud to her satisfaction and opens the trunk the rest of the way. Not only was Colten unconscious, he was knocked about three feet from the car from the impact of the trunk door. She takes Colten's gun and proceeds toward the open car door. She points the gun at Krychec and ...) Sc: Now it's MY turn !!!!!! Now put one hand on your head and use the other one to slowly open the door. (Krychec does as he is told) Now, I want you to put your other hand on your head and slowly walk to the back of the car.(He does so. Scully ties their hands up and throws them into the trunk) Sc: Enjoy the Ride !!!!!! Guard: You can stay here, but there is a very pretty woman outside waiting for you. Mu: Scully!!??!(talking to himself) Could she have gotten away?? Of, course she could have. But how could she ... Guard: Would you like for me to leave you alone so you can talk about this with yourself. Mu: No, I have to make sure she's okay. (walks out of cell) Guard: (looking at Scully) She looks fine to me .(smiles slyly) Mu: Watch it !! She's my partner!! Guard: Lucky !!!!! (Mulder walks up to Scully) Mu: Thanks for springin' me boss !! Sc: You're right I'm the boss !!!! Mu: How did you get me out of here ?? Sc: I proved you were innocent and took out the garbage in the process. Mu: Why would you want me out of jail ?? Sc: The office seemed so spooky without you. Keep watching for the next episode.
