All feedback is appreciated and adored. Spoilers: honestly do we need these anymore? Set in 6th season Disclaimer: I don't own them. And if you do, could you make another movie sometime soon? That would be really cool. (Owned by Fox, CC, DD and GA) Rating: PG I stare out the window; the strong splashes of the storm shaking the ground as Mother Nature reigns down her fury. I glance at Scully for a moment taking in her small frame in the middle of the bed, her legs crossed Indian style, and her glasses perched on her nose as medical records are scattered around her. She picks up another piece of pizza and grabs a file to her left looking at it thoroughly while chewing. I smile softly and stare out the window once more, suddenly the lights go out and I hear Scully mutter 'great'. My smile broadens, and it occurs to me that this is so much like our first case together, and then I make a decision, one that will hopefully change the rest of our relationship. I walk to the bed and hold my hand out to her, 'come on Scully, lets go play in the rain.' I say and I feel her shift on the bed as she gets up trying to find her shoes on the floor. She slips them on and then takes my hand. Even though it is dark I still know she is smiling as she continues to follow me out of the hotel. I have no doubt that Scully would follow me to the ends of the earth, as I would for her. This unspoken truth is what has kept me going more nights then I can remember. And as we trudge to the park across from our pathetic excuse for a hotel I am reminded of all the times when we held hands, mostly out of pain, desperation, fear, and yet now it is only out of love, again a love that has not been spoken or even introduced really. I sit on the swing and pull Scully into my lap, she comes willingly but I can feel her tense as she sits there. She isn't sure what to do and neither am I; I wrap my arms around her waist and start to swing us back and forth. She gasps at the sudden motion and my grip around her tightens. 'I've got you,' I say softly into her ear. I feel her nod against my neck. We swing back and forth and when I finally put my feet down to stop we are both drenched in water. Scully shivers slightly as we stand; I pull her towards me and kiss her lips softly. Its incredible, even though she is cold and wet, her lips on mine are like fire. I pull back knowing now is not the right time to continue this, I give her a smile and we walk back to the hotel as the lights come on around us. The rain has stopped, and Mother Nature seems to have finished releasing her anger, she is now content, and so am I.
