Heart upon a Glass Scully watched as tiny raindrops ran down the shower door. She pressed her left hand against the glass and started tracing each drop until it formed a heart around a sun. She smiled and placed her hands on her swollen belly and rubbed in a clockwise motion. She sighed and open the shower door to feel a rush of cool air swarm around her. She wrapped a towel around her and walked to her bedroom. She placed her clothes out on her bed and picked up her brush to comb her wet hair. As Scully stood in front of the mirror brushed her hair, she noticed a picture in the left hand corner of her mirror. She dropped her brush and picked up the photo. She smiled at Mulder holding Matthew at last year's Christmas party with her family. Bill nearly killed him for touching little Matthew, but Bill got over it. Mulder looked so cute holding Matt. "He would make a great father," Scully thought to herself Scully placed the picture back in the mirror and really looked in the mirror at herself, for the first time in a long time. "If I were you Dana, I'd be going crazy," her mother had said over dinner a few weeks ago. Scully's ocean blue eyes sprinkled in the moon's reflection as she walked over to the window. "Oh Mulder, I would do anything for one breath, one touch, one more gaze and one last kiss." She walked back to the mirror and traced her finger into a heart upon the glass. She picked up her favorite picture of Mulder and walked to her bed. She pulled back the covers and placed the picture in her pillow case for sweet dreams. It was her new superstition, if she didn't have the photo under her pillow she would have nightmares. She laid down and pulled the covers to her chest and stared into the sky. Wishing on as many stars as she could find, before finally falling into a restful sleep and dreamt about a heart upon a glass.
