AUTHOR'S NOTES: I just had to write this. Just came to me and wouldn't come out. ~*~ He holds her picture in his hands. The bright red and blue of her features immediately caught my eye, while this man stares at the shape shifting scenery outside the train. Not worrying about much of anything except the scenery and the faded crinkled picture in his hands. "Is that your wife?" I ask This man jumps a mile high from my simple question. He must have been lost in really deep thought. "You could say that," he says with a shy smile that perplexes me even more. "She's beautiful." He holds this women's smiling face even closer and looks down at her sadly. Taking his finger he traces her delicate features. "That she is." "What's her name?" "Dana" After a brief pause and a glance in my direction he ask: "Have you ever been in love Mr" "Just call me Joe." "Joe" "Once or twice." He sighs sadly. "Are you going here to see her?" I ask "If all goes well." He shifts uncomfortably and I take note of this. By his body language I can tell he wants this conversation to end and fast. The train started to slow and pull into the station. All of a sudden three loud pops were heard. Then the train sped up once more. I look out the window to see what was going on and saw the women in his picture with another women and two men (one of which was laying on the ground) The man with the picture jumped up and scrambled to the window just in time to see the red haired women disappear. "SCULLY!!!" "Hey hey," I placed a gentle hand on his arm, "calm down." He just shrugged it off, pocketed his picture, and opened the door of our carriage. "Where are you going?" The man said nothing but slammed the door on his way out. I hope everything works out for this mysterious stranger. ~*~ Author's Notes: yeah this ended rather abruptly. Well what do you think?
