Notes:They are at the end of the fic June 20th 2013 Dana Scully's Apartment Mulder gave an aggravated sigh as he waited for Scully to get home. She had run out to get something for dinner but she should have been back about twenty minutes ago and Mulder was starting to get worried. As he paced back and forth in the small kitchen he glared at the phone willing it to ring with Scully at the other end sheepishly explaining that she had run out of gas or had a flat tire. "C'mon Scully, where are you?" The shrill sound of the phone ringing brought him out of his muttering and a sick feeling of dread started in his stomach. All of his inner senses were screaming at his to not pick up the phone. He shakily walked over to the phone and said "Hello?" tentatively. "Is this Fox Mulder?" The professional sounding voice asked him. "Yes this is he. Is something wrong?" Mulder asked not really wanting to know the answer. The voice softened and said quietly "I'm sorry Mr. Mulder. This is Georgetown County Hospital, Dana Scully was brought in here earlier. She was in an accident. I'm sorry..She didn't make it." Mulder's heart felt like it had stopped. "There has to be some kind of mistake!!" He screamed into the phone. "She can't be dead." He whimpered slamming down the phone tears streaming down his face. Without realizing it Mulder had grabbed his car keys and was now driving around. He didn't even know where he was. Mulder glanced at the clock and through his blurry tears he saw that he had been driving for nearly two hours. His eye caught on one of Scully's CD's that was sitting on the dashboard. He slid it into the player and as one of the songs came on he had to pull the car over to hear it better. Mulder started sobbing uncontrollably when he heard the lyrics and realized what song it was. It was their song. I can never find another lover Sweeter then you Sweeter then you I will never find another lover More precious then you More precious then you "Scully, I can't do this without you. I love you." He said in between his tears This song had so much meaning for them. This was the song that was playing at their first real date, this was the first song that they had danced to. The song fit both of them perfectly, it was even playing when Mulder had asked Scully to marry him. And she accepted. The next song changed over and Mulder cried even harder when he heard it. All I can do is sit in my room Thinking about you How could it be that you aren't here with me When I gave you the best of me I face each day without a smile And life is so unfair I feel like I wanna die Mulder pulled his gun out of his holster and held it in his lap starring at it as his tears moistened the trigger. Cause you didn't give me a last good-bye He felt a stabbing pain in his heart. He had given Scully a chaste kiss on the cheek when she had left. The last time he would ever see her. I've waited weeks for your call I've waited here by the phone But when the silence grew long I knew that something was wrong Right then I knew it babe How could you do it babe His mind flashed back to when he was pacing back and forth waiting for Scully to call and when she didn't, feeling in his heart that something was wrong. How could you tear my poor heart in two Ain't no more blue up in my sky Only cloudy mornings And these tears like rain you left behind Mulder had no reason for living anymore. Scully was the only reason that he hadn't ended it all years ago. If he were to continue he would have a black cloud hanging over his head. All of those memories In the corner of my mind He almost smiled when he remembered the way Scully's bright blue eyes had lit up he had dropped to one knee and proposed to her. She had tears shinning in her eyes as he slipped the elegant silver band with the diamond on her finger. I started looking at us at a picture in a frame As I start to cry Cause I can't picture us apart Mulder mentally pictured the photo that they kept in their bedroom. It was a simple snap-shot that was taken when they were ice-skating in the park.. A young woman asked to take the picture because they were such a cute couple. They both had roses in their cheeks from the cold and they were gazing at each other with love in their eyes. Oh my God can you help me With this pain I'm feeling I'm feeling deep down inside Girl tell me it's not true Will I have to spend the rest of my life without you How can I get through this pain of loosing you. As the song faded out Mulder raised the gun to his temple and a single shot could be heard ringing out. That night two stars shone brighter then all the rest. They belonged to two souls that would forever be together. Two souls that were virtually one had finally been reunited. EPOLOUGE: Washington Post June 21st 2013 "TWO FBI AGENTS DEAD" Wash. DC-Two agents of the FBI died last night. One Special Agent Dana Katherine Scully MD was in a bad car accident at about 7:15PM last night. When her partner and fiance Special Agent Fox William Mulder found out about her death he apparently committed suicide. The two agents had investigated cases dealing with the paranormal. On that note it seems right that Agent Mulder's death has a paranormal twist. One song has been playing over and over in the CD player but when mechanics checked to see if it was broken it was not. On their deaths their supervisor Assistant Director Walter S. Skinner has this to say, "They are together now with no-one to keep them apart. Their souls can be at rest now." FINIS!! OK you can kill me now!!!!!!! I can't believe I wrote a CD and I swear I won't do it again!!!!!!! I heard the song and it kinda just wrote itself. The first song was "All My Life" and the second one was "How Could You" both by K-Ci and JoJo. They are on the CD "Love Always" Send feedback!!!!!!!!!
