Edger Hoover Building Basement Office of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully 3:21 PM "Scully, what's wrong?" Mulder asked her good naturedly. He knew, of course, but he wanted to see her rea - "OW! What was that for!?" "For being a bastard. Now let me work on the report, Mulder!" Scully hissed at her pouting partner. "Scully, you DO know there are softer things to throw at me then hardcovered books, right?" The glare that was shot in his direction could have melted ice. "Fine, I know when I'm not wanted. I'm going home for the night Scully. Bye." Mulder said while hurridly gathering his things and walking out the door of the office. Scully hardly noticed and finished the report about 3:45, printed it out, and decided to go home early for once. Little did she know of the evil and hideous monsters that lurked in the deep confines of her apartment.... ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~! Apartment of Dana Scully 3:46 PM Mulder worked quickly, setting up all the nessissary things. The purple telitubby doll he had picked up as an afterthought sat on the couch with the little handwritten note. The McFlurry sat in the freezer so it wouldn't melt. Mulder was dressed and ready to go. All he had to do now was wait for Scully to get home.... ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~! Apartment of Dana Scully 4:02 PM Mulder heard Scully insert her key into the door and ran behind her bedroom door. He also heard the exasperated sigh as she saw the note telling her to go to the couch. He waited patiently for her to pick up the plush Tinky Winky doll sitting on the sofa so he could start. As she read the note, she smiled. "Dear Scully" the note began. "Don't worry! Noone cares when I'm pissy and upset and bitchy. Know why!?= You don't? Well, it's because.......................yes, you guessed it! I'm gay!!!!! Love always, Tinky Winky P.S. Pick me up already!" Scully chuckled and did as the note said. She jumped a little as the cheery music started to play. "What the hell-" she thought as she saw Mulder. She saw Mulder alright. And when she saw him, she started to laugh. Really laugh. He was dressed as Tom Cruise in Risky Buisness... dress shirt, dishevled hair, tie asku, socks, sunglasses...and no pants. And he was singing. Which made her laugh even harder. "So no one told you life was gonna be this way Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A. It's like you're always stuck in second gear When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but I'll be there for you When the rain starts to pour I'll be there for you Like I've been there before I'll be there for you 'Cause you're there for me too" He sang, the theme to Friends blasting through her apartment. "Mulder," she started, but was unable to finished as he started the next verse. "You're still in bed at ten and work began at eight You've burned your breakfast so far, things are going great Your mother warned you there'd be days like these But she didn't tell when the world has brought you down to your knees "I'll be there for you When the rain starts to pour I'll be there for you Like I've been there before I'll be there for you 'Cause you're there for me too" "Mulder! Come on, stop. You've made me laugh..Mulder..waht are you doing?= Mulder? MULDER!" She squealed as he hoisted her to her feet and began to dance with her. He reached in, grabbed the M&M McFlurry he purchased on the way to her apartment, and walked back over to her. "Your McFlurry, m'lady." He said in his best British buttler voice. Scully smiled and accepted the McFlurry. "Thanks Mulder." She said, standing up to be a little taller. "Thank you so much, Mulder." She said earnestly as she reached up and brought Mulder's lips down to hers for the kill. And boy, was it a kill..... ~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~! The End!!!
