DScully1964 : I didn't want to bother you Mulder. Trustno1 : Bother me ? Never ! I've just been sitting here with the computer on watching the fish swim hoping you'd show up DScully1964 : I didn't think you'd want to talk to me right now Trustno1 : Its not a matter of want, I need to talk to you Scully. Trustno1 : I need you too much sometimes. DScully1964 : I'm always here Mulder Trustno1 : Thank you Scully, that means more to me than you'll ever know. DScully1964 : Maybe I do know ?. Are you OK? Is it Karin? Trustno1 : Yeah but I feel responsible for what happened. DScully1964 : You didn't do anything Mulder. You tried to stop it. Trustno1 : But I failed didn't I ? I always do don't I Scully? DScully1964 : Mulder don't do this to yourself. Please! Trustno1 : Scully you've seen it, you've been part of it. Pain and misery seems to visit anyone I care about. DScully1964 : She was special to you Mulder? Trustno1 :No, well yes, in a way, but it wasnt really the person as much as the circumstances. DScully1964 : The fact you never met her? Yet felt comfortable talking to her. Trustno1 : Yeah. Its safe. You can open up more of yourself. There's no judging based on physical awareness. It just a meeting of minds with none of the other physical or social crap to deal with. DScully1964 : So you feel freer to talk to someone like that than someone sitting next to you? Trustno1 : In a way. I know what many people think of me Scully. I guess It just felt good talking to someone who didn't know me and had no expectations. DScully1964 : Do you think I expect things of you Mulder Trustno1 : Yes, but not as much as I expect myself to act a certain way where your concerned DScully1964 : I dont want you to be anything but yourself with me Mulder. But you cant always do that can you? Trustno1 : See Scully this is my point. We have as much history and water under the bridge as most married couples. But yet its here , now, sitting in front our computers that we really talk to one another. Why is that? DScully1964 : I don't know. I know I've thought about it too. Trustno1 : Its not easy for us Scully DScully1964 : Too many years spent learning how to pick and chose the right things to say, Mulder Trustno1 : Its funny isn't it.. all this talk about trust and when it comes right down to it we're both just now learning to trust one another. Trustno1 : I do like it Scully. It makes me happy to really talk to you. Its just hard sometimes. DScully1964 : Your right Mulder, nothing is ever easy for us. Trustno1 : Thanks for helping me get my mind off Karin, Scully. DScully1964 : You know Mulder since you brought her up. I need to apologize to you . But I was a little harder on Karin than I should have been DScully1964 : Its just that I saw how close you felt to her. And I was bit envious at the ease with which she got close to you. Trustno1 : Lets face is Scully you were behaving pretty territorial. DScully1964 : I'm going to overlook that comment Mulder What I meant is exactly what we have been talking about the last 20 minutes. DScully1964 : There was an ease and freedom in the way you dealt Karin that just isn't there between you and I. Trustno1 : Oh but Scully there's a very good reason for that! DScully1964 : Enlighten me Mulder. Why are you more comfortable with a woman you hardy know than with me. Trustno1 : How do you say it? Scroll back Scully, the answer is there.
