Dedication: To Joey, a great and wonderful friend and for beta-reading this story! It's in her kiss (1/1) I finally did it, I kissed Dana Scully. I wanted to do it for ages, just never did it. I always thought she would hit me, walk away and ask for a transfer. We were working on a case, once again I was trying to explain one of my theories to her and once again she was giving me one of her rational explanations. How it happened I don't know, one moment we were discussing, the other we were standing a lot closer than we should have. I was only teasing, she took a step away from me, I moved a step in her direction. Our eyes not looking away from each other, we moved through the office, until there was no other way to go, because she was standing with her back against the wall. Maybe I should have stopped there, but I didn't, something told me not to leave it there this time. And she didn't stop me either. She just looked at me, with those big blue eyes, the eyes I fell for the moment she walked into my office. The look she had in her eyes was so obvious, she tried to hide it, but I saw it. They obviously said "I don't want to be here at all, and I don't know why I even am." I saw expectation in her eyes, curious what I was going to do next, oh I knew very well what I wanted to do. I just wasn't sure how she would react. SO many times, when she was giving rational explanations, I just wanted to grab her and kiss her senseless. Usually I found back my sense on time, although I have to admit, the longer I was in love with her, the more difficult that was. Let's face it, I've been head over heels in love, from the moment we met. Every other woman I dated after that day, didn't stand a chance. I compared them all to her and than the choice was pretty easy of course. Anyway, back to where I was, she was looking and I decided to tease her a little, I kissed her on her cheek and to my surprise I wasn't hit. She just stood there, her eyes closed, a smile on her face. I decided to take it one step further. I kissed her on her nose and eyes, and still wasn't hit. And I swear that I would have stopped it there (yeah, right, that's easy to say now), but Scully decided otherwise and did something that I never, even in my wildest dreams, expected from her. She moaned in frustration, pulled me down and kissed me full on the lips. That sure took me by surprise, boy I didn't see that one coming. I believe even she was surprised by her action. She didn't let go either, it took us at least 15 minutes to come back to our senses and let go of each other. Partly because we needed air. At that moment I realized what I was doing and stupid, stupid, I said sorry and left the room I still can't believe I left her there, how stupid can I be? Why did I apologize? She didn't seem to mind at all. Maybe I should give her a call. No, you know what I'll go to her. I've said A, so now I'm going to say B. The End This one was very very short.
