    I sank into the pew wearily and pulled out a picture.  Ever since I asked 
for the 302 I had been feeling down.  A young girl, Ruby Morris, was abducted 
from the campsite she was sharing with her mother Darlene and younger brother 
Kevin.  Darlene had been in a camper while Ruby and Kevin had decided to 
sleep outside.  While they were asleep, Ruby was abducted.  Lucky for Kevin, 
Ruby was returned.

    I looked at the picture of me and my little sister, Samantha.  It was 
taken over 20 years ago and unfortunately so was she.  I felt the hot tears 
on my cheeks.  I had tried so hard to protect her, my parents left me in 
charge.  But, I had failed them and I failed Samantha.  She was taken by a 
force that I believed was extraterrestrial.  If these were the same people 
that took Ruby then why was she returned and not Samantha?  Why couldn't she 
come home to me?

    After she was taken, life in the Mulder household would never be the same 
again.  My mother went to bed every night with "Prince Valium", my father, 
well, when he wasn't out of town, he was in a drunken stupor.  He didn't hit 
me often, but when he did, he hurt me pretty badly.  I don't know how he 
managed to convince people that I was really that clumsy.  

    I keep asking myself, "Will I see my little sister again?  If so, will 
she remember me?  What if I was wrong and someone just took her away to kill 
her?"  I also keep hearing voices in my head.  They tell she'll be alright 
and that one day she'll return to me.  Do I believe the voices?  I want to 
believe.
