"Late One Night"

Mulder and Scully were working on paperwork on Scully's floor eating Chinese food. Then Mulder got a call on his cell phone and left Scully alone. His egg rolls got cold.
Scully heard a banging on her door and opened it because she thought it was Mulder, but it was Skinner. Skinner fancied Scully but was too afraid of Mulder to do anything. He knew Scully only loved Mulder anyway. 
Skinner told Scully that Mulder had been following a suspect but he was shot. He drove her to a backstreet where Mulder lay wounded. With timely tact, Skinner left Mulder and Scully alone.
Mulder told Scully that he loved her. She kissed his blood and tear-stained lips and told him she loved him too. They kissed again passionately and Mulder had no more breath left so he died. Scully didn't want to be alone so she shot herself. They were happier than ever before.
