THEY DO HOWEVER BELONG TO THE TEAM OF 1013 AND CHRIS CARTER. ARCHIVE: ANYWHERE. LET ME KNOW WHERE I CAN VISIT. SCULLY'S APARTMENT She sat on her bed watching the flicker of car lights through her window. She had been alone now for six months. Her pregnant stomach was very visible and the baby kept her awake most nights. She could no longer look for Mulder. Too many problems with the pregnancy and now she was bedridden. Her mother was in the guestroom and the gunmen and Skinner made daily visits. She missed him dearly. Closing her eyes she concentrated on seeing his face. She could remember his smile and those hazel eyes that made her heart palpate when they stared down at her at night. She remembered his gentle touch and his soft voice. A tear flowed down her cheek and she opened her eyes. God, she missed him so badly. He was probably alien food by now. She remembered when he saved her and not only did he nearly freeze to death in the process but he came with a gunshot wound to his head. He had saved her and yet she could not save him from whatever torture they had inflicted or was inflicting upon his sick body. He had been ill and told nobody of his illness. He had tried to spare her the pain and the grieving of losing him forever. She also knew in her heart that he had given himself to save her in the end. That was Mulder, a true friend. He would have given anything to save her any pain. That is what she loved about the man. He was truly a hero. She missed him so much. Sometimes the only thought that kept her going was the thought of him seeing his child. She pulled herself to the side of the bed and checked the phone to make sure that it was working properly. She wanted to make sure that if Mulder called that she would be able to get the call. She knew that it was wishful thinking but she could not risk it regardless. She stood and walked into the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth. She washed the tears away and looked into the mirror. Would he be the same when he returned? She remembered the other abductees and their fear of being taken back to the testing place. It had been her fear since her return. She would help him deal with the terror. She missed him so much that she would not risk losing him to the aliens again. She finished in the bathroom and walked back towards the bed. Again she glanced at the phone, one could never be too careful about forgetting to plug the thing in or pulling the cord out by mistake. She crawled back under the covers and closed her eyes. Again she could imagine what it would feel like to have him by her side, holding and caressing her the way he did the night at the cabin. His touch had been so gentle and his breath against her neck had felt so arousing. She could almost pretend that she could feel him gather her and their baby in his arms. She missed him so much. She reached over and picked up the present that he had given her last Christmas. It was a beautiful scarf. He had purchased in England when he was there on a trip to examine some crop circles that were close to Oxford. He had remembered a small specialty shop that had unique gifts. The scarf was made of silk and fine linen. It was a beautiful royal blue. The lady in the shop had stitched a small poem in the corner, she recalled it by heart ' Happiness is knowing that life is incomplete without that special person. Truth is having all your questions answered and knowing that there is nothing else to ask. My truth and happiness comes from having you in my life, hopefully til the end of time. Love Mulder' She pulled the scarf close to her heart and held on to his memory. She missed him so much. Tears flowed down her cheek. She closed her eyes again and held onto his memory. The pain of his absence was overwhelming. She missed him so much. Her only hope was to hope that one day he would return. The end Qqqqqqqqq1wwwwwwwww2eeeeeeee3rrrrrrrr4ttttttttt5yyyyyyyy6uuuuuuu Is everyone missing Mulder as much as I'm missing him?
