Storyline: This is what really happened after they discovered or
didn't discover Mulder when he jumped off the cliff in Arizona.
Honest!!

just my imagination working overtime, yet again! Enjoy!

The intense Arizona sun beat down on the trio, as they stared at the
spot where Mulder had fallen. Special Agent Dana Scully, AD Skinner
and Special Agent John Doggett, were deep in conversation. FBI agents,
all sweating in their white shirts, no longer crisp, were running
around in a confused fashion. What the hell had happened?

"What the hell happened here, Agent Doggett?" queried Skinner,
looking very yummy, indeed in his yellow designer shirt. "I heard you
reporting that Agent Mulder had been sighted, but I don't see him
anywhere. Can you explain that?? Oh..and while you're at it, could
you please tell me where you found forty FBI agents in Arizona??"

"Well, Sir, as to what happened, I'm not clear on that...aaahhh well,
it's like this. You see I was tracking these footprints....."

"Footprints....in the desert?? This very dry desert, that hasn't
seen rain in about three months, Agent Doggett??" Agent Scully
questioned, raising her eyebrow in disbelief. "Don't look now, Agent
Doggett..but that sounds like an X-File!"

"Oh..save your sarcasm, Agent SULKY, I didn't say they were perfect
prints...you know at first they were, but then they kind of got
scruffy, and then they cleared up some...and I followed them to that
ledge up there......" pointing upward to the cliff that towered
overhead. "Well, now that you mention it, it is a little
strange...you know the footprint thingee in the desert...yah...I can't
explain it, but there it is!"

	"Where what is?" Skinner barked.

"Oh for crying out loud...NOTHING...obviously, he's gone,
vanished...you know...Bonk!!" Folding his arms across his chest,
Agent Doggett blinked his eyes and nodded his head in a very sad "I
Dream of Genie" imitation. "I tracked Agent Mulder to the edge of the
ledge, and then he just backed off and slammed into the ground."

"Hey, that's rhymes, neat!" Agent Scully clapped her hands in glee.

"What are you talking about, Agent Scully?" Doggett asked in an
exasperated tone of voice...in a throat suddenly gone dry at the sight
of Agent Scully smiling. Now that was something he could get used to.

"EDGE and LEDGE, silly Agent Doggett!" Twirling around in circles,
Scully started singing. "Here we go round the Muldry bush, the Muldry
bush, the Muldry bush...Here.."

Skinner and Doggett looked at each other in surprise and then looked
back at Scully as she continued to turn faster and faster in circles.

"OK, Agent Doggett, you go to her right side and I'll take the
left...we've got to stop her from turning in circles..I'm starting to
get motion sickness just watching her...obviously she is under some
kind of trance. Ready...? GO!!"

The two incredibly masculine agents closed the distance between
themselves and the ever faster turning Scully. In unison, they
jumped her and brought her down in the hot Arizona dirt. Once down,
Scully seemed to come to her senses. One look from her blue eyes, and
Agent Doggett was on his feet again, putting as much distance as
possible between himself and Scully.

"Agent Scully, are you alright?" asked Skinner in a concerned voice.

"It just came to me..what happened to Mulder...I don't understand
it..can't begin to explain it...but I know it's true. It all makes
sense...don't you see?"choked Scully, with her eyes brimming with
unshed tears.

"What...what makes sense, Agent Scully? Am I missing something
here?" Doggett asked, squinting as the sun bounced off of Scully's
flaming Titian hair.

"Well, that is an understatement, Agent Doggett...really you miss
EVERYTHING. But I know how it is that Mulder fell from that cliff and
disappeared. It's all so simple now!!"

Gazing off and staring at something in the distance, something that
was invisible to everyone but Scully, she whispered the words she knew
without a shadow of a doubt, were true.....
"Mulder is just like the Energizer Bunny....He just keeps going and
going and going and going and going....!"

"Oh for crying out load, here she goes again," cries Agent Doggett,
as Scully begins to turn in circles. As she spins faster and faster,
a vortex begins to form, and before they could say, "I shot the
Sheriff", Special Agent Dana Scully disappeared into thin air......
