Subject: More Stories...

Hiya folks! This is just a short little thing inspired by a incident at
softball tonight. All of the JV team lucked out, but the Varsity sure had a
blast. This is also in part a short sequel to the "Rain Turned Snow" story
with the DC South Softball team in it as a salute to all my teammates. They
may not like X-Files, but, hey! No one's perfect!;)

Disclaimer: The agents, the bastards, and their bosses who rule them belong
to CC, 1013, and FOX and I have no part of this story that is my own. The
other characters are all real people so you can't really copyright them,
can you? Xerox machine, coming through!;)

Rated PG-13 for mild swearing from a disgruntled Abel character. YOU try
going through this litte situation.

"Never Trust The Catchers"
       by Kris "Beast" Abel, 00299982@gps.gp.k12.mi.us

The hour was late and the agents were almost home when Mulder felt that
burning sensation that, well, was something you could not deny. Trying to
push the feeling away, he crossed his legs. Didn't work. Tried thinking
about Scully in bed. Still didn't work. DAMN! He turned with a red face to
his partner.
"Ah, Scully? Is there anywhere around here where we can stop?" He asked
her. She turned to look at him for a second.
"Why?" She asked, eyes on the road as she drove.
"Um, I kind of have to go," he said, embarassment flooding him. Scully
looked over at him and smiled.
"There's a high school coming up and the lights are on. We could try
there," she said, biting her lip to keep from laughing as her partner
squirmed irritably in his seat. They entered the parking lot a few minutes
later and drove to the back where six double doors were. Must be the main
gym, Mulder thought. They noticed several other cars pulling up behind their
car as teenage girls piled out. One blond figure with a hat on backwards
and an equipment bag slung over her shoulder bounded out skipping from a
van's door.
"WHEE! Hey, Dinah! Look at what grape Kool-Aid did for meeee!" The girl
cried out as she went into a somersault on the hard pavement. She laid on
her back and groaned. "Bad, BAD, idea...my back! Owwwww! Di-NAH! Why didn't
you stop me?!" She moaned as she stood up. The 6 foot Dinah shurgged and
smiled a braces smile at her.
"Since when do I ever stop you from anything, Abel?" She said and ran
to catch up with the other girl who had gotten out of the van. Abel jumped
up to follow her. The agents laughed silently as they followed the girls to
the double doors. They watched as the girls opened the doors and found them
to be locked. Mulder squirmed again and had to resist the urge to curl over
himself. Too much coffee after work, he surmised.
"FUCK SHIT!" Abel exclaimed, kicking the doors. For the first time, she
noticed the agents prescence. A grin lit up her face as she turned to them.
"Hiya, Doc Scully and Mulder! Whatcha doin' at South this late?" She grinned.
Her teammates crowded around behind her and both agents were remniscent of
a Roman general with army.
"Trying to find a bathroom open for Mulder," Scully explained. The girls
giggled as Mulder squirmed more noticeably.
"Must've been the coffee," Abel grinned. "Well, these doors are locked
so we have to go through the back way."
"Where's that?" Mulder asked. All of the girls smiled and ran off with
Abel leading the way with a roar. Scully shurgged and gestured to them as
they headed for a corner.
"Better catch them, Mulder, before you lose them," she smiled. In a
second, he was off and sprinting after them. They dodged three corners
before they barreled into a side door and entered the gym. He followed them
and sent out a prayer of thanks to the being who had placed the men's
bathroom so close to the back doors. With a cry, he dashed inside and slammed
into a stall. Heaving a sigh, he did his business and exited the stall;
zipping up his pants as he went. A flash blinded him and he found himself
face to face with two giggling girls; one was Abel and the other had a
batting helmet on backwards.
"It's a good thing that you had that photography project after school
today, Corbin," Abel grinned. "I think you just found your A+ picture: Man
Zipping Up." They laughed and ran uot the door. Mulder sighed and gave
pursuit. He was tired and jsut wanted to go home to lay on his couch and get
what sleep that he could get. But the girls were having none of it. They
dodged around a corner, past Scully, with Mulder in hot pursuit. He rounded
the corner...and crashed into the Varsity softball coach. She glared at him
as he stood up.
"Watch were you're going!" She yelled. Even if the woman was a foot
smaller than him, Mulder cringed at her voice and headed off at a walk after
the two girls. He finally found them back by the six large doors with the
photograph....and Scully. They handed her the photo and then walked past
Mulder into the gym. Scully looked hard at the photo and then began to laugh
out loud. He instantly went and snatched it away from her. It showed him
zipping up his fly...with his patented Marvin the Maritan boxers haning out!
Scully smiled and tugged his arm towards the parking lot outside.
"C'mon, Mulder, you've had your fun for the night," he followed her out
....but with a sly grin on his face. Scully caught that grin and turned to
face him on the steps. "What?"
"You know, Scully, you didn't exactly come to my aid back there with
those girls," Mulder said as he stepped closer to her.
"Well, I make it a policy never to mess with teenagers on sugar sprees:
especially when they have cleats on." She smiled. He just gave her that
insanely annoying grin again. The one that said "I know something you don't
know, but you wish you knew and I'm not going to tell you anything". She
shook her head and was about to turn away, when Mulder reached out and drew
her close to him. His mouth descended slowly towards hers; hot breath
searing her skin and sending shivers over her. Lightly, he kissed her lips.
     "Payback," he whispered.
"Huh?" Scully breathed. He pushed away from her and walked to the car.
The loss of his heat brought a chill to her and she thought *yeah, payback*.
A loud giggle shook the night air and she turned to see all sixteen members
of the JV softball team lined up behind the doors watching her with her
cheeks flushed and her hand raised to her lips.
"Definetly patback," she muttered as she walked back to the car amid
cheers from the softball. Mulder was going to pay for this: dearly.

So? Does the "Rain Turned Snow" saga continue? Please, tell me! This is
another attempt to sucessfully integrate some more teenagers into the X-Files
realm.;)
