So she logged on to a chatroom.She scanned the names on the list and recognized one of Mulder's names, SpookyFox. (Since when does he chat online?) She decided it would be fun to find out what she could get him to say when he didn't know it was her. There were only two other people in the room. When she got there she ran up to his apartment and knocked. When he answered, she took his hand, and pulled him to the spot in the hallway where they had almost kissed before. She placed his hands on her face where they had been before and put hers at the back of his neck. Then they kissed. It was all they had expected it to be and more. When they broke away Scully smiled up at him. "You're amazing," he said quietly. She wrapped her arms around him in response. "Stay with me tonight, Scully," he said into her hair."Nothing has to happen, just stay with me." "I was hoping you'd ask." He pulled away and smiled. "Come here," he said leading her into his apartment and shutting the door behind them. Then he led her into his bedroom and onto the waterbed. Mulder lay on his back, with Scully half covering him, her head on his chest. They both fell asleep within minutes. For the first time since he was twelve, Fox Mulder slept without a nightmare.
