PTSD, a Drabble
by Lee Burwasser <lee46b@gateway.net>

Agent Mulder, the universe doesn't give a damn if you've had a hard time
recently. You nearly got yourself and Agent Doggett killed, by not
getting the facts before you made your decision.

Doggett's mistake endangered you, and he risked his life to correct it
-- only you wouldn't listen to him.

That's why agents get leave and desk work after a hard time. It's not
punishment, it's recovery time, for your judgment as well as your body.
Now go home and stay there until your intuition is up to speed, and
you're no longer a danger to your own side.
