Who is this man Doggett? Who is this Scully before me? Who does that baby belong to? Who am I? I see a man who is hard yet kind. Sarcastic, jaded and easily mislead.... He's just like me. Well, not exactly like me... he isn't a believer. I see a Scully I do not know. This Scully is soft, rounded, her hard edges gone. She speaks her emotions, giving them to me. There is no more "Clinical Scully." I am not used to a Scully who shows her emotions. What am I supposed to do with this feelings she shows me? I'm afraid I'll screw up yet again. The baby... God, I'm not sure I can rationally think about that baby. Who...? How...? I can't.... I can't go there right now. The emotional cost is too high. Who am I? I have no idea... did I ever?
