Thompson's House - Night It is a big private house, with grass all around. Subtitle reads location, and time (2:31 AM) Int. Thompson's house The Camera statrs moving left from the right corner of a baby's room. As it moves, we hear a conversation - getting loader as the camera moves left. The Camera passes over a crib - because of all the blankets and sheets inside, we cab't see the baby. As the camera exits through the room's door, we can see IRIN THOMPSON talking to A COP IN UNIFORM. They are both sitting down, Irin has a troubled look on her face. As the camera reaches them, they stand up and head towards the door. COP So, you see Irin? Technicly, he isn't a missing person until he's missing for over 24 hours... IRIN Yes, but still... COP (interupts her) But still, I'll spread out the word, and I'm sure we'll find him - It's just a matter of time. (break) Now don't you worry, just sit at home and relax Ext. Thompson's house The door is open, Irin is inside, holding the knob in her hands. Cop is standing outside. He puts his hat on his head as he smiles Irin (trying to smile) Thank you Cop No problem. now, don't you worry about him... Irin I'll try The Cop smiles and walks away towards a police car. Irin closes the door slowely as the Cop drives away. Int. Thompson's house The house is dark, without any light - which suprises Irin, since she left the lights on. She walks towards the light switch, slowly, trying not to bump into something on her way. She stops immedietly when an intimedating dog-roar is heard; A WHITE SHINY OBJECT appears near her. C.U - white object Sharp white teeh appear, along with evil-glowing eye. Another "Grr" is heard. Irin (frightened) Rex? is that you boy? (break) Rex? The Camera moves away quickly, backwards, through an open window. As it moves, we see the DOG-LIKE CREATURE jumping on Irin to attack. When the camera is out of the house, we hear Irin screaming in fear. Theme starts Ext. Thompsons House - Day The place is crowded. There are policemen everywhere, and some parked police cars. The place is surounded by yellow-"police line, do not cross"-lines. There is a crowd behind the lines, trying to get a peek, and policemen, standing next to the line, gaurding that noone will pass it. SCULLY and MULDER draw some attention, as they pass through the crowd wearing their usual long rain-coats, in comparison to the jeans-wearing crowd. They both present their FBI licences to a POLICEMAN, who after seeing it, lets them pass the policeline. They walk towards the police Chief - JACK HADAWAY. Jack moves his hand towards Mulder. Jack Hi, I'm Police-Chief Hadaway. Mulder (shakes his hand) Hi, (break) Special agent Fox Mulder, and this (Mulder points at Scully) is Agent Scully. Int. Thompson's house Irin's body is lying on the floor, half covered by a white sheet. On her upper half, her body is full with scratches, and in some places, the flesh is torn out. She has a very frightened llok on her face. Near her, BABY THOMPSON is crying on the coach, being taken care bye a POLICEWOMAN. REX, a medium sized dog, is sleeping on the floor near the coach. Mulder, Scully & Jack are standing near the body - staring at it. Jack speaks as Mulder bends to examine the body. Jack We found her today at 6AM (break) A neighboor wen't here to check why the baby is crying for hours (break) It looks Like she was brutally attacked by a large animal. Mulder (Examining the scratches on the body) I'll Say ... Mulder see's something. He Carefully picks up a hair, which looks like a dog's hair, and puts it in a small plastic box (Which he took out of a pocket in the inside of his coat) As Mulder stands up, POLICEMAN2 comes running into the room POLICEMAN2 Boss, we need you outside The whole bunch walks outside of the crime scene Ext. Thompson's House A MAN is struggling with a few COPS near the policeline - He's trying to get in, ans the Cops don't allow him to. His clothes are ripped, so his chest is shown - he is hairy, and has black, long hair. POLICEMAN3 & POLICEMAN4 are trying to restrain him and not let him pass the policeline, while he's shouting and fighting to get in. Jack reaches the scene and trys to seperate between the two forces (Cops & "A Man"). After a bit of struggeling, he sucseeds. As he trys to cool down, he shouts: Jack What the _HELL_ is going on? POLICEMAN3 & POLICEMAN4 immedeatly justify their actions POLICEMAN3 POLICEMAN4 This guy (pointing at "A Man") He tryed to get in without any just won't take _NO_ for an answer authorisation Jack (to "A Man") OK, now who in god's name are _YOU_??!? CU on "A Man" - He is unshaved and has sharp, white teeth A Man I'm DAN THOMPSON, I _DEMAND_ to know what happened in my house F.O. (Yep, it's commercial's time..) F.I. Dan Thompson is in the police interagaion room. A Small white room with a large desk and a couple of chairs in the middle of the room. a POLICEGAURD is standing behind the closed Exit door. Dan has his hand lying on the table. He looks a little tired. On the opposite of the desk, Scully, Mulder & Jack are sitting CU on Dan Dan Thompson I Told you (break) me and Irin had a big fight last night, so I got so angry that I just left, and spent the night in some bar. Jack What did you fight about? Dan Money problems Jack What was the name and location of the Bar you spent the night in? Dan I told you, I don't remember, I just drove around until I reached it, I don't even remember the way. Mulder and you have no idea what might have happened after you left? Dan (almost crying) No man, you think I excpected something like this to happen? (break) You think I'd let anyone hurt Irin? Tears fall out from Dan's eyes, they blend with the sweat on his face. He leans his hiead on the table, between his hands. Mulder Stands up Mulder Thank-you for your help Mr.Thompson Mulder, Scully & Jack stand and walk towards the exit door. Dan (shouts in order to get Jack's attention before he leaves the room) Wait! (break) Where's my baby? What did you do with him? Jack Don't worry. He's in the nearby Nursery-Room, He'll stay here for a few days (break) I'll make sure he gets treated well Jack closes the Exit door. Int. Police Station Jack We tryed to check his story, but no one has seen him in any nearby Bar around. Mulder Keep us informed... Mulder and Scully walk towards the Exit Ext. Police Station - Some trees are around, in Fall season Scully So, what do you make of this so far? Mulder turns around and faces Scully Mulder I'd rather here your version first Scully Well, all evidence shows she was attacked by a beast, probably a wild dog, or a wolf... Mulder (interupts her) You might want to hold that thought Scully. Now, this is a longshot but stay with me on this Scully (sighs) Oh No, Here we go again... Mulder takes out of his inner pocket, the doghair he found in the scene Mulder I found this on the victim's body (He hands her the hair) combine this with the torn clothes on Mr.Thompson... CU on Mulder Mulder ... and the fact that there was a Full moon last night Scully Mulder, I'm really starting to worry about you... Mulder (in a convincing tone) There have been legends about Werewolfs for centuries, There might be some truth in it.. (break) After all, there's some truth in every myth Scully (in a cinical tone) So you're suggesting that Dan Thompson turned into a werewolf and attacked his wife? Mulder (Smiles) Call it a hunch... Scully Well, I'll check out the hair you found, but I'm not making any Silver Bullets Mulder That's all I ask The screen turns red, as the camera zooms out of one of the victim's open wounds. The camera also reveals Scully in surgens clothes, performing an otupsy on the body Int. Otupsy Room As Scully finishes the operation, she uses a pinncette ti take out another dog-hair from one of Irin's open wounds. She holds it in front of her eyes, comparing it to the hair in the plastic bag which Mulder handed her earlier. She sighs, as the Phone (which is on a nearby desk) rings. She quickly takes off the Surgen's uniform, and answers the phone CU of Scully Scully Hello? CU of Mulder Mulder Scully, it's me Scully The results on the hair you found came in Mulder and? Scully (giving up) It's most likely a wolf hair.. Mulder I feel bad saying it, but - _"I told you so_" Scully Mulder, a wolf's hair doesn't nesseraly mean it's a werewolf.. (break) What happened to the days in which a wolf's hair meant a wolf?? Mulder Scully, the most visious animal in this area is the Thompson's Neigherber's _Podel_. Scully So, you still beleive in your werewolf theory? Mulder I'm just saying that we shouldn't rule anything out (break) There's a full moon tonight too, I'll as the police to put a close watch on Dan Int. Police Station Scully, Mulder & Jack are talking, in a room fulled with tv-like monitors, monitoring the Cells. A COP is sitting near the screens, watching them. Jack This way, we watch what's happening every minute in each Cell (break) We'll be monitering Jack as well - you have nothing to worry about Mulder I hope your right.. Jack Now, as I said, you want to check the phonecall we got concerning this case? Mulder Sure, what's here name again?? Ext. DORRA PENN's house - Mulder, Scully & Jack are standing next to the open door. Dorra's face is peeking behind the open door. CU on Dorra's face Dorra Hi, I'm Dorra Penn Int. Dorra's house - the living room Everyone but Dorra is sitting down on a coach. Dorra enters the room and serves some drinks. Then, she sits down near them. Jack So why did you want to see us? Dorra Yes, I called because I know Dan didn't do it - He was with me that night, and now he's lying to protect me (break) poor man, doesn't deserve to be in prison Jack He was with you? Dorra Yes, you see (break) Well, Dan and I were lovers.. It just happened (break) We met from time to time, but he had to keep it a secret because of his marriege.. Mulder's Phone rings as Jack starts to say something. Mulder wakes aside, and takes out his phone Mulder Hello (break) What? how did that happen ? (break) a beast? Well, do you know where he is now? (break) I see, OK... "I'm on my way".. Mulder quickly closes the phone and returns it to it's place. He interupts Jack's converstation with Dorra Mulder Dan's broken out, a large beast was spotted, I'm going to try and find it. Scully, you stay here Mulder quickly moves to the door Jack (turns around - kind of suprised/shocked) Wait !! But it's to late, and the only response he gets is the roam of Mulder's Car speeding off Ext. Mulders car - dark night, full moon Mulder is driving along a road filled with dust and sand, leading into an unmarked trail into a nearby Forest, police sirens are heard, and police light's are heard in the distance. Suddenly, a black figure runs across mulder's way (ahead of him), it moves fast and looks like a very scary Large Dog.. Mulder hits the brakes. Mulder opens the door and quickly runs off the road, following the beast into the forest. Mulder keeps running, the Beast/Werewolf is straight ahead of him. It stops for a moment, which Mulder uses to draw out his gun. He fires 4 bullets into the creature. The creature notibly felt it, but it didn't seem to hurt him at all. Instead, he now leaps at Mulder, which respnds by shooting the other 2 bullets. When that doesn't help, Mulder begins to run, as fast as he can, without knowing where the Hell he is or is going to, inside the deep-black forest, hitting some rocks, and banging into some trees along the way. the creature is not far behind. Finally Mulder gains some distance, he hides behind one tree of a row of trees. The creature, a few feet behind him, stops to smell the traces of Mulder. CU on Mulder - He trys to catch his breath, without moving or making any noise. He is terefied to death, as he hears the dark creature sniffing behind him, moving very slowly. Suddenly, Mulder's phone rings. The Creature hears it and jumps on Mulder, which immeadiatly continues to run as far as possible. As he runs, he takes out the phone and answers it Mulder (barely managing to talk) Yes? CU on Scully, which is in the most relaxed state, compared to Mulder Scully Mulder? Where are you? Mulder This is really not a good time Scully Mulder hangs the phone up with a finger (before he does, Scully's voice is bearly heard through the phone, saying : "the Thomspn's Baby is missing..."), and while running from the "getting close" beast behind him, holds it in his hand. He keeps running until he reaches a small cave. He gets in, and trys hard to move a big rock inside to block the Entrance. The Rock moves right on time, and the jumping to-kill Werewolf, already in air, crashes into it.. It quickly stands up and tries to get in, but it can't. Mulder sits down, leaning on a small rock inside the cave. He breathes hard. Mulder Stuck, aren't you?? The beast makes awful noises as it tries repetadly to bang into the rock and get it, and always fails.. Mulder's P.O.V The creature is seen, whith the full moon behind him. It Defenetly looks like a Werewolf.. F.O. F.I. Mulder opens his eyes. Seems he fell asleep, it's already morning, and the sun is shining outside - sunbeams are entering through the small openings that the rock left. Mulder hears strange, yet familiar - not threataning noises out side. He pushes back the rock (takes him a lot of effort), and discovers a BABY Crying, lying naked on the ground. Mulder _BABY THOMPSON_? CU on Baby THOMPSON V.O - Mulder Dan Thompson was released from jail, the murder case remained unsolved. Baby Thompson is seen with some "DOCTOR LOOKING" type of people V.O - Mulder The Thompson's Baby was taken for study (break) The Doctors which were seen earlier, are now seen dead on the floor, blood all around, they were seemingly shot to death. A hand in an FBI-Suit reaches and takes the Baby, as : V.O. - Mulder but was kidnapped shortly after, his location is currently unknown.. The Baby is seen in some sort of incubator, with strange metallic devices all around him F.O Credits.. --------------25F72C80668E--
