Author's notes : This story was inspired by the mini-blizzard that hit just
as I decided that I wanted to do another 155 words. Mention must be made of

sorry for neglecting you for ages. Letter winging it's way to you as we
speak. Claudia - for the wonderful offer. I feel honoured.

"THE SNOW FELL SILENTLY"

Mulder and Scully were working somewhere cold and it began to snow. Ever
since Antarctica, they had both been a little bit afraid of snow, even
though they wouldn't admit to themselves or each other. First time for that
one, then.
They both stood there afraid, looking at each other. Then Mulder looked at
Scully and saw the snowflakes resting in Scully's hair and realised that she
was beautiful. Scully saw the snowflakes resting on Mulder's lips and
admitted his sumptuousness.
Slowly, they walked towards each other. Mulder touched Scully's hair and she
reached up to the back of his neck. They looked into each other's eyes until
Scully kissed away the coldness of Mulder's snow-covered lips.
They kissed until the snow came up to their ankles then they went to drink
hot chocolate ad sit by the log fire, kissing all the while. Mulder kissed
Scully's hair and Scully kissed Mulder's hands, and they lived happily ever
after.

"Almost made you love me. Almost made you cry. Almost made you happy baby -
didn't I, didn't I? Almost heard you sayin' you were finally free. What was
always missin' for you, babe, you found it in me. But you can't get to
Heaven above the ground, and everybody knows - almost doesn't count."
