Scully's Apartment Dana Scully awoke to screaming. Wait no it was grunting. She didn't remember leaving the television on. Had some ome broken into her apartment?? She sliently picked her gun up off of the night stand and peeked out the bedroom door. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Mulder who was sound asleep on the couch. Scully put the gun down and grabbed a blanket for him. Scully turned off the porn tape he'd been enjoying and placed a blanket on him. She was about to go back to bed when she felt him pull on her T-shirt. This was when she realized she only had a T-shirt on. "Scully, I'm disappointed. I thought you'd put on some sexy lengerie for me." "Funny Mulder. Why are you waking me up on Saturday, by the way?" she inquired rubbing her eyes. "Well since I stayed at the bar so late I forgot-or didn't remember- that my building was being sprayed for bugs." "That drunk huh?" He hesitated and decided not to answer. Instead he tugged at her T-shirt. "Anyway I just remember the cab dropping me off in front of your builing." Scully walked over to the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee. "So how long will you be staying?" she asked. "As long as you keep walkin around in nothing but that T-shirt," he grinned. "Funny," she said as her cheeks turned a deep red. Scully sat a glass of orange juice for Mulder on the coffee table. As she walked by his hand brushed her leg. "Scully," he looked at her with dead seriousness. "I hope you didn't shave your legs for another man." "How long are you staying for, again?" she tried to sound annoyed. "About week and a half." "What?!" she yelled out to him. "It doesn't take that long to kill a few bugs!" She could hear the smile in his voice. "I know," he said simply. As Dana finished with her usual morning routine she heard Mulder fumbling around in the kitchen. She walked out of the bathroom with a pair of PJ pants on now. "There's an extra tooth- brush in the left drawer, and I laid out some towels and clothes." "You're such a red-headed china doll," he said disappearing to the shower. The agent had to admit that even though he was a trip sometimes-this was going to be fun to play house. She started frying some bacon and making a fresh pitcher of tea. After a few more minutes Mulder appeared from the bathroom wearing her bath robe. "Hey Special Agent Dana Tramp, what's fer breakfast?" he said pouring himself coffee while standing unusually close to her. She gave him a -what did you just say-look and he replied with a sheepish grin and shrug of his shoulders. "Well I'm frying bacon. Do you want to make pancakes or eggs?" He sighed. "I guess I'll make pancakes." He trudged around the kitchen and began mixing the batter. "So what do you usually do on Saturday mornings?" "Sleep in," was her sarcastic reply. "Sorry. Hey um I need to use your car later to pick up some clothes." "Well I'm going to the store later so we'll just go together. And we'll stop by your apartment to see how long it's really going to take." "Alright," he suddenly got quiet. After they finished breakfast Scully did dishes while Mulder sat on the couch watching cartoons. When she was done she sat down on the couch facing Mulder. "You're such a blanket hog Mulder," she informed him pulling more the blanket over herself. "Am not!" he indignantly shot back with a smile. "Look at all that," he pointed, "on your side!" "I'm just gonna sit for a minute," she muttered sleepily. "Then I'm gonna get dressed and we'll go to the store." He continued to flip through the channels as she fell asleep. "Hey Scully look at this," he chuckled. "Scully?" he asked when she didn't respond. When he looked up she was asleep. He suddenly felt guilty for waking her up. So he lifted her gently in his arms and carried her to the bedroom. As he laid her down on the sheets and covered her up she asked, " Mulder why do you have my robe on?" "It looked comfier," he told her honestly. "Did you really expect me to wear that skimpy outfit that you picked out?" "Mulder," she muttered in sleep, "those are the biggest close I have." "Sure Scully," he said laying down beside her and snuggling under the covers. It was silent for a few moments until Mulder quietly whispered, "I have a confession, Scully." "What's that?" she barely managed. "My building isn't really being sprayed. I was just drunk and walked here cause it was closer." The sleepy woman just whispered an incoherent, "Whatever," before falling asleep along side her partner. The End. Please send feedback to spookysamantha@hotmail.com
