Subject: A Summer day at the beach!

Ok This is my 2nd attempt at Fanfiction
Its rated G - cause i don't like to write smut
These characters do NOT belong to me  they're all Chris Carters Ideas!! 
So all credit goes to him and 1013! 
Summary: Mulder and Scully spend a romantic day at the beach...the 
possibilities are infinative!

Away we go!!

                         A Summer day At the Beach

Scully's Apartment
10:30am
Saturday

"Come on Scully hurry up, I mean we're just going to the beach not 
China" Mulder said while waiting in Scully's living room. They had 
gotten out of work yesterday and were stressed to the max. Mulder had 
suggested to his partner that they go to the beach the next day to relax 
a bit, God knows it was hot enough. <I can't wait to see her in a 
bathing suit> <What are you saying she's your partner, not one of your 
dumb blondes on you video's, you shouldn't be having these feelings for 
your best friend> <I can have feelings for whoever i want> <Whatever>  
He was having another one of these discussions in his head again. He 
couldn't deny that he wanted to see Scully in her bathing suit but he 
would have to act as if he didn't care...yet again.

"Oh alright hold on, Mulder do you see my suntan lotion on the counter 
in the kitchen?" 

"No but you can use mine if you want, I brought some, didn't think i'd 
go to the beach and get a sunburn now would I?" Mulder said smiling as 
Scully walked out of her bedroom towards Mulder carrying a beach bag 
with everything but the kitchen sink in it. "Got enough stuff Scully?"

"Alright lets go i'm set, i can't wait to hit the water, just as long as 
theres no Big Blue there or any Alien Extra terrestirals crusin' the 
beach" Scully said with a laugh

"Haha very very funny Scully...now get in the car" 

Scully couldn't was itching to get to the beach, to see Mulder in a 
bathing suit! ohhh!! Her heart raced at they drove. <Dana now don't you 
go getting those thoughts in your head again> <What thoughts?> <The 
thoughts about you and Mulder becoming more that just 'friends', you 
don't even know if he likes you or not just because you love him doesn't 
mean the feelings mutual> <Oh Dana shut up and have a great time, if the 
moment is right then something will happen, go get him girl> 

"Yeah!" Scully said outloud in the car. Then she realized that she said 
that outloud and now Mulder gave her a look that asked 'Did I Miss 
something?'

"Uhhh Scully want to clue me in on you conversation you happen to be 
having with yourself?" He smiled with those puppy dog eyes and a pouty 
lower lip, She nearly melted right there.

"umm..uhh...no...I mean..uhh..I was just umm...never mind keep driving 
Mulder. <Great Dana now he thinks you talk to yourself.> <Well then what 
am I doing right now? Huh?> <Ok just shut up>

"Yes Miss Daisy" Mulder said with a smirk on his face. They drove into 
the beach parking lot and got out. They gathered there thing from the 
trunk and got settled on the beach.

"Thank God there's not alot of people here, I never did like a crowded 
beach, I'm going for a swim wanna come?" Mulder said taking off his 
shirt and his jeans revealing a black and red swim trunks. Scully was in 
heaven...she took Mulder's sight in.

 <Thank heavens for my sunglasses he can't see my stare> "Uhh no Mulder 
you go in, I'll be in soon." 

"Ok then it's your life" Mulder started walking towards the ocean  just 
as he was waist deep in the water someone pushed him in and he fell face 
down into the water

"Sucker" Scully smiled  please with the way she surprised him. She was 
so caught up in her Glory that she lost sight of Mulder. "Mulder come on 
where are you?" All of a sudden Mulder pick Scully up from Beneath her 
legs so Scully's butt was resting on Mulders shoulders. 

"So you think your soo smart and clever sneaking up on me we'll it looks 
as if someone needs to be taught a lesson!" Mulder laughed

"No please Mulder don't c'mon please Mulder no Muld--" *Splash*
Mulder had thrown Scully off his shoulders and sent her flying through 
the air into the water at least five feet from him.

"Hehe Look its a flying Saucer, a UFO...No wait thats just you Scully, 
That'll teach ya!" Mulder tried to help himself but it was no use he 
laughed so hard he was turning blue. While Scully was trying to balance 
herself after getting up.

"Very Very funny Mulder, Sheesh your strong, I was nearly flung five 
feet." Scully's hair was all messed up and Mulder thought she had never 
looked better.

For the rest of the day they swam, threw a frisbee around a bit, covered 
each other in the sand even built sandcastles...well Scully built a 
sandcastle, Mulder built a Sand UFO. They completly forgot about work, 
Skinner, Government policy's, and anything that had to do with their 
working life, all they were thinking about were each other, and how they 
never wanted this day to end. They were like to teenagers in love on the 
beach. 

It was six at night, the day had flew by. They were walking on the beach 
right now with the waves lightly hitting there toes. The sun was setting 
behind them. It was almost as if this were a movie. They were both 
talking about life and love at the moment "Scully right now if you 
weren't with me what do you think you'd be doing right now at this 
moment?"

"Mulder I can't imagine my life without you, but I'd have to say that I 
would be sitting at home with take-out food being completly loveless and 
miserable. What about you Mulder what would you be doing now?"

"Well I would be doing the same thing as you would be, sitting at home 
with take-out contemplating my sad miserable life, I mean I can't 
imagine my life without you either. You've become my life Scully, your 
my life, my best friend, and my love, I love you Scully" <opps did I 
just say what I think I Just said..uhho What if she doesn-->

Scully cut off his train of thought "I'm so glad you said that Mulder, I 
Love you too, your my life and love also, not to mention my best 
friend." With that Mulder gave Scully the sweetest most passionate kiss 
that both of them ever experienced. With that they both walked 
hand-in-hand down the rest of the beach. Neither one of them had to say 
a thing. Scully had her head rested on Mulders should and they walked. 
Then the Kissed some more, then they walked.

"You know you were right Mulder, a trip to the beach was just perfect. 
This is the best summer of my life, and now I have you to share it with"

"You Hungry Scully?"

"Yeah actually I am, those sandwiches you packed just don't do me any 
justice"

"Then lets go home get showered and we can go to that little Italian 
restaurant Spoleto's downtown? Whatta say?" Mulder said smiling with his 
arm draped around Scully's waist.

"Sounds like a plan" Scully was really hungry ans she felt salty from 
the water and could use a good shower. 

"Y'know Scully there's no hot water in my apartment I think, would you 
mind if I used yours, it could even be kind of romantic, hehe!" Mulder 
said nudging Scully with a low seductive voice.

"Excuses Excuses, well I guess it would be for both of out benefits if 
we did, I mean you can't take a cold shower, and You can't go to a 
restaurant smelling like a fish, so I suppose you can" She smiled 
sweetly and they kiss even more, knowing that they had the rest of their 
lives to live together and nothing not even the FBI policies could keep 
them apart from each other. A Summer day at the beach had turned out out 
to be that and so much more!
