She climbs in after him and slams the door shut, then taps the cabbie on the shoulder. SCULLY Washington D.C., please. CABBIE Que? SCULLY (firmly) Washington. D.C. Our nation's capitol. CABBIE Is gonna be a long trip, lady. Mulder begins to slide and Scully shoves him back into what approaches an upright position. SCULLY It's going on the expense report. Lead on, MacDuff! CABBIE Que? Scully sighs. SCULLY Forget it. The cabbie shifts into drive and Scully turns to Mulder, trying to buckle his seatbelt. SCULLY Mulder? Are you okay? Can you hear me? MULDER Uhhh..... SCULLY Don't worry, partner. I have no idea what this poison is, since Pendrell did the initial analysis of the thorn, and I have no idea how much is in your system, but since you seem to still be alive, you should be fine. MULDER Uhhh..... SCULLY (sympathetically) I know, Mulder. I completely understand. MULDER Uhhh.... Mulder's head lolls. Scully automatically rights him. That totally adorable lock of hair falls over his brow and the camera pauses for a long moment, giving the Genteel Ladies quite a thrill. MULDER Uhhh.... SCULLY Oh, we're in Philadelphia and because we can apparently arrive anyplace we want anytime we want, it shouldn't take us long to get to D.C. How long would you like it to take us, Mulder? Do you have any informants you need to stalk? Any library work? Any local cops you need to piss off? MULDER Uhhhh....uhhhh......uhhhhh....uuhhhhhh... SCULLY Whoa, partner! Don't get upset at me! I'm not the one drooling all over his Armani. MULDER Uhh... SCULLY Smart-ass. The cab jerks to a halt and Mulder flies forward, smacking his forehead on the seat. Scully winces. MULDER Uhhh... SCULLY Sorry, Mulder. Look! We're home! Scully grabs Mulder by the back of the hair and wrenches his head around. MULDER Uhhh... SCULLY Really? With everything? MULDER Uhhh.... SCULLY One hot dog with everything. And what would you like to drink? Scully gets out of the cab, tosses some cash at the grateful cabbie, and opens Mulder's door. She begins to pull him out of the cab but he's WAY too big for her to be lifting and he falls flat on his face. MULDER (muffled) Uhhhh.... SCULLY Sorry, Mulder....
