XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Dana Scully slid out from under the bed clothes and stood up. She wrapped a thin cotton blanket around her body, which was swollen with pregnancy. She laughed quietly and glanced around the scantily furnished apartment. How ironic it was for her to be living with this man. A criminal. The kind of person she had spent her years as an FBI agent trying to put away. However, that was before she learned the true story behind his life of crime. The trials he was falsely accused of leading to the dark forces of their government. Yet, he was the one who helped her in so many ways. His contacts were the only way she was able to even have the child she was carrying. *If only Mulder could see me now.* She paused in her admiration of the building where she now lived and turned back to the bed where her boyfriend still lay asleep. His dark hair fell lazily over his face, the perfect picture. He lay on his side. The moonlight was streaming in through the window. It illuminated the bed from which she had just risen. Her thoughts fell back to Mulder again. Her partner in the paranormal cases called the X-Files, whose sister had been abducted as a child. But that was so many years ago and she knew not what to think about those cases now, The X-Files were closed and had been for three years. Mulder had told her that he would never stop searching for the truth. Scully knew about the truth now but she wasn't even sure it was so. Just an unrealistic fairy tale made up only for the fools who would believe in it. *Was Mulder a fool?* Scully asked herself, but she shook her head no quickly. Mulder had lived a sad life and would most likely continue living that sad life until he was no longer on this Earth. He found only solace with his video tapes and by now even that had to be wearing thin. After the X-Files they had talked only a few times. Less then she would have liked, but eventually they drifted apart like two clouds only meant to know each other for a short time before moving on once again. The sleeping figure on the bed began to stir reminding her of where she was again. He groped over to the place where she had been lying. It was still warm with her body heat. "Dana?" A sleepy voice mumbled. Scully walked over to the side of the bed and stroked his dark brown hair. "Yes, Alex?" She replied, keeping her voice low. Almost as if she was afraid someone else would hear her. Of course the room could have been bugged but that was not something they worried about any more. "Where d'ya go?" Alex Krycek's voice was thick with sleep and it gave him a childlike tone. Like a small boy calling for his mother. "I just went to look out of the window" She hadn't really. There was nothing to see but a road filled with night time traffic. Scully didn't know quite why she had gotten up. Perhaps just to evaluate her life without the time restrictions of day. "Okay....." His voice trailed off as he snuggled farther underneath the blankets. Scully climbed into bed with him and wrapped her arm around his broad chest. Slowly she drifted of to sleep. XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx That's all folks. I was kind of infatuated with the whole Scully/Krycek relationship (or possibly lack of one.) I'm a shipper at heart but I think something has to happen. So, Do you think I should write a sequel? Or never write again? Let me know. It's my first story attempt that I've posted so if you have _any_ comments, suggestions or what have it you can send them to me at Dscully826@aol.com . One line is all it takes.
