Summary: Mulder and Scully search for their daughter, Dana, after
being kidnapped by the son of Duane Barry.

Dana and Fox Mulder's residence
Annapolis, MD
(Same night when their daughter was abducted)


"Fox?" Dana Scully-Mulder inquired, as she saw the blinking light
of their answering machine. "Can you come over here?"

Fox Mulder smiled. He went behind his wife, and he hugged her.  "I
am sure that it can wait for tommorow. It's probably nothing.." He
was in a romantic mood following their dinner at a local Italian
restaurant.

"I think that we should play it," Scully sighed. "Maybe something
had happened to one of the children?" She was referring to their
older twenty-eight year old fraternal twins, Dana and Fox Jr., as
well as their younger children, Emily, Melissa, and David.

"Play it," Mulder sighed, as he watch Scully press the button. He
heard their daughter being abducted. "He _took_ her!"

"I know, and I think that we better find her before..." Scully
didn't want to finish her sentence, but she knew her husband was
thinking the same thing. Before they take her like they took her
along time ago. She couldn't believe the same thing had happened
to Dana.

"We'll find her," Mulder replied. "I think that we better find her
now or we will be too late." He grabbed his jacket from the sofa,
and his car keys. "I have an idea where he must have taken her.."

"Skyland Mountain?" Scully asked, remembering the file of her own
abduction. Her husband nodded, and she grabbed her trenchcoat. She
then wrote a note to their son, David, who was at a friend's
house.

"Ready?" Mulder asked his wife.

"Yes, I am. Let's go," Scully replied.

En Route to Skyland Mountain
Duane Barry Jr's trunk

Dana Mulder was bound and gagged in the trunk of Duane Barry Jr.'s
car. Her shoulder-length, wavy auburn hair was a mess, and she could
feel her cross necklace underneath her. She felt motionless as if
she couldn't go anywhere. "What did he do to me?" She asked herself
silently. She was aware that she was in a moving vehicle heading
towards somewhere. <Come on, Dana Katherine Mulder,> thought Dana, <try
to be strong.> She told herself over and over again. "Where am I going
to?" She pulled her thoughts together, and told herself to be brave
not only for herself but for her parents and her siblings.

Meanwhile, Duane Barry Jr. saw a police car behind him. He pulled over,
and saw a policeman. "Sir, what do you want?"

"We received a all points bulletin regarding a missing woman, an FBI
agent named Dana Katherine Mulder. We are stopping all the cars..."

"Maybe she just wanted to get away from it all?" Duane snickered. "I
would."

"If you see her, please contact the FBI," the policeman said. As he
walked away, he heard a noise coming from the trunk. On his cell
phone, he called AD Walter Skinner. "This is Detective Rob Nolan. I
would like to get in touch with Special Agent Dana Scully-Mulder and
her husband, Fox Mulder. Is there a way that I can get in touch with
them?"

AD Walter Skinner was sitting at his desk, and he replied. "Is this
about Special Agent Dana Mulder's kidnapping?"

"Yes, it is. I found Duane Barry Jr.'s car, sir."

"Why don't you detain him?" AD Skinner replied. "Her parents are on
the way to Skyland Mountain. Where are you?"

"A few miles near Skyland Mountain," Detective Nolan replied.

"Follow him, and Agents Mulder and Scully-Mulder will be there
shortly," Skinner replied. He put the receiver down. He sighed.
He couldn't believe that this was happening again, and he hoped
that Dana's parents will find her before she is experimented on.

En Route to Skyland Mountain
Dana and Fox Mulder's car

Fox Mulder was driving while his wife, Dana, was in the passenger
seat. Scully was talking on her cell phone. "Skinner, someone saw
Duane Barry Jr.'s car? Was Dana in the car?" Scully asked, as Mulder
was listening to Scully's worried questions. He hoped that they can
get to her before "they" do.

When Scully said "goodbye" to Skinner, she turned towards her husband.
"That was Skinner. A police detective found Duane Barry Jr.'s car, and
he heard some noises in the trunk. He took a photo of it, and it
appears that our Dana is in that...trunk." She wasn't about to admit
it to Mulder but her memories of her abduction were starting to
haunt her.

"That's good," Mulder sighed. "I hope that we can get to her..." He
let the unthinkable unsaid. He knew that this was hard for his
wife. To her, this was deja vu' all over again, and was remembering
her abduction. "Are you ok?"

"I don't think so. I am worried for Dana. I know what she is feeling
because I had been there. I remember everything that occured. Mulder,
what happens that we are too late and she is taken by them?" Scully
asked. She was full of concern and frightened for their daughter. She
knew what she was feeling right now as she can sense it in their
daughter.

Fox William Mulder Jr.'s apartment
Alexandria, VA
Later that night

Fox woke up with a moan as he fell asleep on the coach. He had
a horrible dream about his twin sister, Dana, being kidnapped. His
cell phone rang. "Mulder," Fox replied, half asleep.

"It's your mother, Fox," Scully whispered, as she was looking at
the road. "Dana was kidnapped."

"Dana was kidnapped? By who?" Fox asked. He should have realized
that his nightmare was right. "Mom... I dreamt it."

"It's very understandable that the two of you can sense these
things," Scully replied. "Both of you always knew what the other
one was thinking even when the two of you were babies."

"Do you want me to search for her?"

"Your father and I have it covered, Fox. We don't want to risk
anything..."

"Call me if you hear anything, Mom," Fox replied.

"I will," Scully replied, as she clicked off the cell phone.

Fox dialed the phone number for Chris Krycek. He knew how much
his friend is in love with his sister. "Chris, Dana has been
abducted..."

"Abducted by who?"

"Duane Barry Jr. My parents are trying to find her. I think that
they are going to need a backup on this one," Fox replied. "I
remember reading a file on my mother's abduction. This is like
my mother's abduction all over again."

Skyland Mountain, VA
Later that night

Mulder and Scully jumped out of the car, and took tram as they
flashed their badges to the top of the mountain. "FBI. We
are looking for a missing Special Agent Dana Katherine Mulder,"
Mulder replied to the middle aged tram operator.

"Is she a relation?"

Scully nodded. "She is our daughter. Did you see a young woman
who looks like me?"

The tram operator nodded. "Yes, she was bound and gagged. Some guy
was raving about ascending to the stars.."

Behind them was a distraught Chris Krycek. "I need to get on that
tram!"

Mulder and Scully turned around. "Chris Krycek? What in the world
are you doing here?"

"In case, you don't know, your son told me about what happened and
I want to help you find Dana," Chris replied. "We thought that you
might need some help."

"I think that you might be right," Scully replied. They got inside
the tram which headed up to the top of the mountain. "Duane said
something about ascending to the stars. What does that mean?"

"When you were taken, Dana, his father meant that he was going to
give you to them so he wouldn't have those experiments
anymore," Mulder replied, softly.

"I hope that doesn't happen to Dana," Scully replied.

Meanwhile, a screaming Duane Barry Jr. "This time you are
not going to take me away again! You are going to
take _her_!" He took out Dana Mulder out of the trunk. "She
is Dana Scully-Mulder's daughter. She would be perfect for
your Project!"

<This can't be happening to me,> Dana thought. <I won't let
it. Somehow, I have to get myself together and fight him.> The
light was getting brighter and brighter. It was a space ship.
<That can't be right. It's more like a military plane or
something.>

"DANA!" Scully screamed. She saw her daughter near the light
from the spaceship and Duane Barry Jr. was still screaming at
the top of the lungs. She turned towards her husband. "Fox,
what should we do?"

"Make sure that Dani is not taken!" Mulder replied. He ran towards
Duane Barry Jr. as did Chris Krycek while Scully ran towards their
daughter but she was too late... Dana was gone.

"Where is she?" Mulder asked, frantically. He saw his wife walking
towards him without their daughter.

"We're too late," Dana sighed. They went to see the trunk of the
car, and she saw her daughter's cross necklace. "It's her necklace.
I gave her this necklace for her sixteenth birthday. She never takes
it off."

"I know," Mulder replied, as he held her. "She'll come back to us.
Just like you."

"I know she will," Scully replied. She held her daughter's necklace
in her hand. "She has my strength of my beliefs. I am going to hold
onto this until she gets back."

Time and Place Unknown

They took Dana into an abandoned military base for experiments. It
wasn't a space ship as Mulder and Scully thought it was, but a
military plane which took their daughter. An old man smoking
Morleys' looked at the new merchandise, who was drugged. "Yes...
She is Dana Scully-Mulder's daughter. We are going to implant
something in her, and won't return her until it grows inside
her."

"She is going to give birth to a hybrid," Marita Covarubias
replied.

"Not just any hybrid. We took some of her own mother's eggs and
fertilized it with an alien. We will also implant the rest of
her mother's eggs along with her own inside her," Cigarette
Smoking Man replied. He paused. "Well, Special Agent Dana
Mulder, you are going to have your mother's baby." He looked
at the Japanese doctor. "I expect that you know what to do."
