XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Unspoken Words She can to me in my dream, she was trying to tell me something but I couldn't understand what it was she was saying. I tried to walk to her but ever step I took she would walk back three steps. I tried to run to her but she would just go back farther and farther. I called to her, but she just kept trying to say something, I couldn't make it out. I tried to yell but nothing can out. Next thing I knew she was being taking away from me I tried to move but something was holding me back, I tried and tried to get out of what ever was holding me. I get lose and run to her but now she fading away from me. I wake up screaming her name; the next thing I know the phone is ringing. "Hello." "Ms. Scully?" "Yes this is. Who is this?" "Ms. Scully this is Nurse Vaughan from Northeast Georgetown Medical Center; we have your mother here, it said on her medical papers that you are her emergency contact, would you be able to come down?" "Umm... yea I'll be there in about 2 hours. Can I ask what's wrong with her?" "The doctors didn't tell me anything, they just asked me to call you and ask you to come down to the hospital." "Okay thank you." Running to get William up and ready she grabbed her purse and left. She knew something was wrong because this happen to her when her father died. Died. 'Could it be, could my mother have died. Dam it she can't die I need her.' Yelling trying to find her mother. Finally when a doctor came up to her and asked her if she was Dana Scully. She said yes and if she could see her. She wasn't moving, was she died, or was she just no awake. "What happen to her? Who brought her here? Tell me God dam it." "Ms. Scully please settle down. A man brought your mother into here; he didn't give us his name just said that she had a heart attack, she wasn't in the hospital more then 2 minutes when she had a massive heart attack, we tried everything we could but she was down for 30 minutes, I'm sorry is there any one we can call?" "No you have to keep trying she can't be died she was in perfect heath, this can't be happening, I'm dreaming this, this... this is all fake." "Ms. Scully I can assure you that this is not fake, this is real. This there any one we can call?" "No, my dad died about 9 years ago, he had a um... a massive coronary." With William behind her he begin to cry. Trying to clam Will down Scully her self began to cry with him. Rocking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. "Ms. Scully what about any brothers or sisters?" "My sister is dead and my brothers live to far away and they're at sea." "What about your husband maybe he..." "I don't have a husband. Just leave me alone." "Would you like a room where you can say good-bye to your mother?" "Yes please thank you." Smiling the nurse went to get a room for Scully so she could say good-bye. In the room Scully took her mother's hand and held it, her memories went back to when Mulder was in the hospital she held his hand just like this. "Mom don't leave me please I need you, I love you, I'm sorry for not going to medical school, mom please come back." Crying on her mom's chest brought back memories of when she was a little girl crying for her father to come home. 2 days later Standing in front of the casket with her brothers, Scully would not move, whenever some one came up to her she would just look at then and say nothing. He can in wearing his best clothes he ever had. She looked up at him and ran into his arms crying with Will right behind her. He embraced then like he had never before. Keeping him close with William in between then he began to cry. "Dad I want grandma back." " I now you do. Scully I'm sorry." "Why her Mulder why her?" "I don't know, why didn't you call me I could have came and got you and took you to my house in steed of having to renting a room with Will?" "God Mulder I want her back, I need her back." "I know. Why don't you sit here and I'll be back I have to bring this up to the front or would you like to come with him?" "I'll go with." "Ok." Walking hand in hand they walked up to the front laid then beside a whole bunch of other flowers from other people. Walking past Bill, he grabbed Mulder by the arm. "Thank you for the flowers." Looking back at him Mulder didn't know what he was going to say. Then Bill spoke again. "Don't hurt please, she the only sister we have left." "I promise." Walking to his car, Scully could remember the last time he was this nice to some one she loved. At the cemetery Scully held Mulder like he was never coming back to her and Will. William was sitting in a chair beside his parents, he couldn't cry even through he wanted to, he couldn't take this anymore, all of this he had to get a way from every 1 for a while. Getting up he looked at his dad he walked away. Like he knew what he was saying neither one of his parents went after him, they knew he needed to be alone for a while, he would come back they knew it. Back at Maggie Scully's house every one gathered, this was the only time everyone saw each other, not even at Christmas did every one come down. Will walked around he didn't know anyone here they only people he did know where he parents, Aunt Tara, Uncle Bill, Matthew his cousin and his Uncle Charily. Everyone else was a stranger to him. He walked up to his dad put his arms around him and cried for the first time after going to the hospital. Mulder took him out side so he could cry in peace and not have everyone around him in a matter of seconds. "Dad, can I ask you something?" "Sure what is it?" "Why didn't you come and see me last month?" "I was busy and me and your mom were talking every much." "Oh I thought it was something I did to make you mad." "Will why would u think that you mean everything to me and your mom?" "I don't know, I wasn't getting every good grades that's all and I thought you would get mad at me." Their song was My Sacrifice by Creed. When they danced it was just awesome I had both my parents together forever. My friends and I played around a lot we ran after each other until my mom asked us to stop because she was afraid that one of us were going to get hurt. She looked beautiful in her wedding dress, sure she wear dresses but this one was beautiful on her, it made her look younger and more beautiful, even through she did cry because grandma couldn't see her walk down the aisle with the man my mom loved and was my father. They started to play old music so my friends and I decide to go for a walk, we didn't now where we were going we just went. WE started to play cop's and robber's I was a robber. I was running away from the cops, I took some candy from the candy store and there were after me it was fun. BANG It hurt, I didn't see it coming and I ran out in front of it. Kyle saw it but he was to late he ran back. "MOM MOM HELP." "Kyle what is it?" "Will it's Will he was hit." "Kyle what happen to Will?" "That car he didn't see the car." "NOOOOOO. MULDER." She ran as fast as she could, she wanted to get to me. They came to me and I wasn't breathing every well it hurt. "William NOOO. Please no not you please baby don't do this please NOOOOO." Mulder was right behind Scully. Every one was around William, he was losing a lot of blood and was still losing it. Mulder was looking for the guy who hit William but wasn't anywhere to be seen. "Some one please call 911. Hurry please. Will please it's mom give me a sign." Mulder went over to where Will was he tried everything to help him breath normally but nothing worked. "Mom it hurts. Please make the pain go away. I'm sorry for taking a finger lick of the cake, I'm sorry for saying that I hated you so many times, I don't wanna die mommy please ma-ma I don't want to die." "Shhhh baby don't say that your not going to die, shhhh baby it's ok." They ambulances came about 5 minutes after someone had called then the cops right behind then. They loaded William in to the ambulance, Mulder and Scully went with him. "Excuse me can anyone tell him what happen?" "I was there sir." "Ok and who are you?" "I'm Kyle Foster." "Hi Kyle I'm officer Lopez. Can I ask what happen to Will?" "We were playing cops and robbers and he was running and the car saw us because he was at the corner and he saw Will go onto the street and then he pulled out he hit him really hard." "Ok, when were you born Kyle? "On December 2 1992." "Thank you. Can I ask you another question Kyle?" "Sure." "Do you remember what the car looked liked or what the man who hit Will looked liked?" "It was a black truck, it was small I really like trucks and I know it was a Ford truck. The man had a black shirt on and had blond hair. He had a big nose. He has head drama and he had bleeding in his lungs." A nurse takes the gurney and another nurse comes to talk to Mulder and Scully. "Are you his parents?" "Yes. Is our son going to be ok?" "Miss you are going to have to ask the doctor." "I am a doctor and I want to see my son right know." "Please miss you can't see him, you can wait over there in the waiting room for the doctor." Walking to the nearest chair she could find Scully sits and begins to cry in her hands. "Why him Mulder first it was my mom now him, Mulder he cant die please no he can't." "Shhhhhh I don't want him to die either, but we have to think positive not negative." "Mulder, I swear I'm going to kill the person to did this to him, I'm going to kill him Mulder." "Scully stop please lets just make sure Will's ok first then we can kill him okay?" "Mulder I need him he's our miracle, I need him Mulder. God please don't take my baby please." Sobbing on Mulder's tuxedo the doctor came out and knew that there were the parents. "Excuse me Mrs. Mulder Mr. Mulder?" "Yes." Looking at Scully, he know who she was, from years before. "Daniel?" "Dana." "Who are you? Scully who is this man?" "It's Dr. Daniel Waterston, he was my medical school teacher, we dated once before." "When I was in England was this the guy you went to see at the hospital?" "Yes. How's Will?" "He... he had blood in his lungs but we got it, he's not breathing on his own but for right know it's a miracle he's still living but we think he is going to be ok right know." "Thank you Daniel. Can we please see him" "Sure come with me. But he's not a wake right know " William's Hospital room Staring at her son, Scully laid beside him on his bed. Holding his hand it was not cold but not warm. It was like he was already died but someone brought him back to life. It was like someone or something knew it wasn't his time to leave his parents. "Excuse me Mrs. and Mr. Mulder?" "Yes?" "I have some back news." "How bad." "Well you will have to be the judge on this one, William lost a lot of blood and the head trauma wasn't to severe. I'd get it 24 hours. If he stabilized then he'll make it but if he doesn't then I'm sorry we've lost him." "Oh my god. NOOO. Mulder no, he's a good kid he doesn't deserve this?" "I don't know. God I wish he would wake up. Doctor how long can he stay like this before something serious happens?" "Don't know he would stay like this for 20, 30, 40 years even, right know I say give him 24 hours and then see what will happen next." "Thank you doctor." Smiling he walked out of the room to leave parents with child. 24 Hours later I stared. Not at anything in particular, just into space. If I could cry, I would, only I can't feel anything at all. I'm, numb I can't even feel my husband put his arm around me, it's like air wrapping it's arms around me and wont let me go. The air is choking me like it's trying to kill me and not let me live. I wait, wait for an answer to my life to see it I can live. Die. Suffer for the rest of my live with the guilt of letting my son die in my arms, or live happily with my family, my son running around like nothing ever happen. I'm so far into space that I don't even see the doctor coming in to see how my baby is. He taps my shoulder I think to make sure that I'm still with there. "Mrs. Mulder are you okay?" "Yes I'm sorry I was just think. I'll be okay." "I'm glad." "Doctor is William going to be okay? I mean is he going to live?" "Well I said 24 hours and so far he's heading for the right path." "Thank you." "Your welcome. Could I get you anything?" "Um... um no... no thank you." "Okay then a nurse will be by later to check up on William then." He walked out and I continued to stare out into space. Thinking about anything and everything. Thinking about the future, if Mulder and I will have more children, if William will ever come out of his coma, if he does when. When I'm old and can't take care of him? Or when I'm died and Mulder's to old to take care of him? I want everything to go back to normal, that would never happen because I don't have a normal life or husband or child, I'm not even normal for Christ sacs. I dream that it's on wedding day again but William didn't get hurt and everything went well and everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves. Mulder and I danced our dance, we laughed our laugh, we said our Thank you's. After my mom took Will for us. We spend the night in a really nice Hotel not some of the cheap ones like before, no this one was beautiful inside, to out. We make love to each other, for hours until we couldn't even stand. We would go get Will the next day, spend it as a family; we would go for a picnic, go shopping buy some new things, just spend the day together as a family. Family. 8 years later He didn't wake up. We took him home after a year, we moved before he came home, he had to get a bigger house. Now it's eight years later and he's still... like... um...like out there. We have 3 other children. Cora who is 2 and the twins, that I never thought I would ever have, their Sophie and Zaccheus their 1 month. "Dada, when is illiam going to ake up?" "I'm don't know baby girl, we all hope he wakes up soon, so he can come back into our lives. But he's still in our lives but when he's awake he can talk to us, and he can play with you." "He ever going to ake up?" "He will, yea when he's ready he'll wake up. Anyway you better get into your pj's before mommy gets home with the twins from grandma's." "Ota. I helped Cora get into her pj's and then went down stairs to wait for Scully and the twins. I turned on the TV to see what was on, there wasn't much on, it was a Saturday anyway there's not much on Saturday nights. I found some kind of show I didn't know what it was called but I was getting really into it was Scully came in. "Hello any one home?" "Coming Scully I just got done putting Cora to sleep, here let me take the twins. Oh Cora tolled me to tell you to go to her room to say goodnight even If she was asleep." "I'll do that right after I put down this bag." I played with Sophie and Zacchaus well Scully went to say goodnight to Cora. "Goodni..." "Surpise mommy, I cared you did I?" "Yes you did scare mommy I thought it was kind of weird that you went to bed at 7 when your bed times on Saturdays isn't till 8." "I know I just wanted to cared you. Ha ha ha I surpise u mommy, can I go play with babies know?" "Sure just be nice ok, tell daddy I'll be down in a minute okay?" "Oat mommy I do." I watched my baby girl run down to her dad and her siblings. I walked into Williams room, I wish he would wake up I want him to meet the rest of the family, I'm afraid that he want wake up and he dies in his sleep with out any of us knowing. I'm scared that I want every see my miracle baby, I can still remember the day as clear as day. Mulder tries to help me forget about it but I can't, I first lost my mother and then my son goes into a coma for eight years. I hold his hand, crying. "William it's me mom. Can you hear me?" "If you can please wake up William I need you baby, I want to see you again, everyone does, you have two sisters and a baby brother and they all want to meet you and get to know you better, through it will take a little long for Shopie and Zac. William I need you buddy yes I have your father and your siblings but you're my miracle, when I saw Kyle your friend running towards me I knew something was wrong." "Dana are you okay Cora told me that you were still up here." "Fox I need him to wake up." "I know you do, we all do." "Oh God Mulder I need him so bad. When you weren't there all I had to do was look into his eyes and I saw you, he acted like you, his voice reminded me of you, when I got you back, we were a family and I knew we would always be together forever, then we got married and this happen, then we were blessed with 3 more wonderful children." "But he will wake up when he's ready." "I just feel so guilty for what happen to him, if I haven't been so crazy about the wedding this wouldn't have happen and he would be awake probably playing with his video games or having sleepovers, Mulder I want him back in my arms."
