Summary: Someone tells Doggett about some of the things
Mulder lacks.

Authors Notes: This story is not a Doggett  praising fic. It is 
also not majorly disrespecting Doggett either ( although,my  
personal feelings towards Doggett  are to to the contrary)   
So my fellow Mulder Supporters can read this in peace.  
Sorry if I scared any of you, I scared myself there for a 
minute.

Disclaimer:  I want so many things (Mulder) I shall never have 
(Mulder). For what I want (Mulder) belongs to David Duchovny  
and Chris Carter. And, that other guy what's his name?, Dogbite?, 
Dogbutt?, Dogcrap? He belongs to Chris Carter too, but you can 
keep HIM Mr. Carter that won't hurt my feelings one bit.

Feedback: To me feedback is like Mulder, I have a major 
craving for it. This is only number two for me so please
be gentle.

What Mulder Lacks

Agent  Doggett,

Since you are heading the investigation into the disappearance 
of Special Agent Fox Mulder, and having been assigned to the 
X-Files division, I thought I would give you some much needed
insight into his character that may have escaped your notice.

Agent Mulder lacks many things that you may have an over 
abundance of. He lacks the ability to logically discount what
most people find unbelievable. By believing these things   
many think him to be crazy.  They call him spooky, generally  
ridicule him, and make him the self proclaimed FBI's most 
unwanted.

Which brings me to something else Agent Mulder lacks, the 
ability or need to care what people think of him. With that  
he lacks the respect of most of his superiors, that in turn gives
him the lack of opportunity to further his career. And yet 
he still investigates and solves cases that other agents would
not even attempt to go near. Not for respect or advancement
but to reveal the truth behind the lies. And to protect the 
lives of many innocent people. And to find answers concerning
several personal tragedies and also tragedies of people close 
to him.

Agent Mulder's failures sometimes have an adverse effect on
his mentality. Leaving him with feelings of doubt and extreme
guilt. But still he fights his adversaries with a strength and 
devotion that most of us who have watched his career could 
only wish to have.

In closing Agent Doggett, if you could open your mind the 
way Agent Mulder has, and see the lies you have found for 
what they are, and look past petty rumors and planted
evidence you will be able to find him and bring him home
relatively unscathed. Please Agent Doggett find this man
he is one of  the only hopes for the future.
